Our funeral home in Westville was founded and started in 1957. It was originally know as the Weaver Funeral Home, named after the former owner J.K. Weaver. Jack Weaver owned and operated the funeral home for 31 years until he asked Michael Newhard, from Valparaiso, the current owner, if he would consider becoming the new owner and operator of the funeral home in January of 1989. In 1995 with the blessing of Jack Weaver, the funeral home name was changed to Newhard Funeral Home. Michael Newhard continues today overseeing the day to day operations of the funeral home and serving the Westville area families in their time of need along with his staff including; Charles Harris, Diane Lawrence, Alice Kyle, Edward Forney and Richard Fagg...
