In the country side of Brazil in the 1940's Nelson Sr. started learning the art of building cabinets, he had as a teacher a German man who taught him the craftsmanship needed to build a beautiful piece of art. Nelson Sr. moved to the United States in 1969 where he started working as a carpenter for the Armenian Church in New York. His commitment to work and the legacy he left behind is characterized in the work he did. He passed his expertise to Nelson Jr. who as a young man understood the passion there is in crafting and building wood pieces. In 1994, Nelson Jr. opened his business working for many contractors in the Boston area from framing to finish. Nelson has worked on many projects and supervised budgets to make sure that his customers are getting the most value for their money. Since then Nelson has worked on new homes, additions and millwork in many towns around Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Southern Vermont.
