Carla was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1992. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and earned a Juris Doctorate Degree from the City University of New York School of Law in 1992. Carla worked as a Law Clerk for Superior Court Judge Marguerite T. Simon, J.S.C. from 1992 through 1993.
For over 27 years, Carla has worked with reputable Bergen County law firms and has extensive Court experience in all areas of family law. Christen Gross has been practicing Family Law since 2006. She primarily focuses on matters including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution and related financial issues, both at the trial and Appellate level.
She served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Harry G. Carroll, PJSC, Superior Court of New Jersey, Criminal Division, Bergen Vicinage for the 2005/2006 term.
Ms. Gross is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association and she acted as Vice President of the Young Lawyers Division in 2008/2009. She previously served her community as an alternate member of the Zoning Board of Adjustments for the Village of Ridgewood, New Jersey.
In 2016 Ms. Gross was selected as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers and was a recipient of the 2016 Client Satisfaction Award in the "Under 40" category from the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys
Ms. Gross received a B.A. from Fairfield University and a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law.
Prior to choosing a profession in the Law, Ms. Nunnink was a Social Worker and worked closely with abused and neglected children. Among Ms. Nunnink's responsibilities at Social Services was participation in court proceedings on behalf of children. As a result of this experience, Ms. Nunnink decided to enter Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey in 1988 with the intention of having a greater impact on the families she served and the laws that protect them.
