NINE DESIGN GROUP

As the daughter of an interior designer, throughout my childhood I grudgingly tagged along to design centers, antique shops and showrooms. When my husband and I purchased our first home, I was overwhelmed. Then as a I cautiously set out to make this new house our home, all of the education I received from my mother came flooding forward. Even more surprising, I found that I now loved design centers, choosing furniture, remodeling and accessorizing... While living in a suburb of Chicago, I started my own decorating firm. In 2008 I moved to Austin, joining Nine Design Group one year later. In 2011, I took ownership.
