Old Coot has evolved from an idea of two friends and surfers, John McIntyre and Philip Tutty. As a result of many years of surfing and reaching mid-life, John and Phil identified a number surfing needs for themselves and their mates. At the same time they highlighted a gap in the market that seems to have been ignored amongst the rad, slash and burn of the mainstream surf industry. Old Coot is not trailblazing new technologies, but rather introducing useful products to an ageing baby boomer market... John and Phil initially developed the Old Coot Surf Essentials Kit and have added custom designed boards delivered to your door, as well as a growing selection of other products including surf guides, T-shirts...
