Jeff M. Anderson

Education Clemson University, 1980, University of South Carolina School of Law, 1983. Jeff was born in and grew up Edgefield, South Carolina. He graduated Clemson University in 1980 and law school in Columbia, S.C in 1983. After law school, Jeff served as a judicial law clerk for former Governor and Circuit Judge George Bell Timmerman, Jr. and for Circuit Judge Hubert E. Long. After completing these clerkships, Jeff joined this firm in 1985. While Jeff is experienced in civil litigation and property law, his primary focus has been serving as attorney for the County of Lexington since 1988. In that capacity, Jeff performs a wide variety of legal services for Lexington County. Jeff has argued cases before the South Carolina Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. Jeff comes from a family of lawyers. His father, Joe F. Anderson, Sr. was an attorney in Edgefield for 40 years. His brothers Greg, Ben and Joe also are lawyers. All of the Andersons graduated from Clemson University and the Moot Court room at Clemson is named in honor of Joe F. Anderson, Sr. Jeff is married to the former Melanie Priester of Fairfax, South Carolina and they have two children, Jeffrey and Bethany. The Andersons are members of Lexington United Methodist Church. Jeff's favorite hobby is playing golf and he is a member of Golden Hill Golf and Country Club where he has served on the advisory board.

John J. McCauley

Education Florida State University, 1977; University of South Carolina School of Law, 1983. John J. McCauley joined Davis Frawley, LLC as a partner in 2004 after practicing in his own firm for over 19 years. John is a 1983 graduate of the University of the South Carolina School of Law and a 1977 graduate of Florida State University. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Julius Baggett in 1983-84. Additionally, he was an Assistant Solicitor in Lexington County's Eleventh Judicial Circuit in 1984-85. John is a member of the South Carolina and Lexington County Bars and is fully licensed to appear before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member and a Founder of the South Carolina Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. John served two three year terms on the Board of Governors of SCDLA. He is a member of the South Carolina Association for Justice (f/k/a South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association), having served on its Board of Governors from 1994 to 2001. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. John served as the Chairman of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Fee Dispute Committee from 1993 through 2006. He has also served as Committee Chairman for the Lexington County Bar Association in the areas of Common Pleas, General Sessions and Family Court. He currently serves on the Judicial Qualifications Committee for the South Carolina Bar. John has been a speaker and presenter at Continuing Legal Education seminars (CLEs) on the issue of professional ethics and attorney's fees. John holds an "AV" rating which is the highest rating in Legal Ability and Ethical Standards. A native of the Columbia, South Carolina metropolitan area, John currently practices in the areas of criminal defense, domestic relations, wrongful death, personal injury, and general litigation. John currently resides in Columbia with his wife Lenni of 38 years. They are the proud parents of a daughter who is married and also resides in the Columbia area. In his spare time, John is an avid outdoorsman, particularly enjoying offshore fishing, hunting and travel. However, his primary extracurricular interest is spending as much time as possible with his two adorable granddaughters.

Matthew Rogers

Education B.A. at The University of South Carolina Cum Laude, 2016; J.D. at The University of South Carolina School of Law, 2019. Matthew joined Davis Frawley, LLC as a law clerk in the Summer of 2018 and as an attorney in November of 2019. Matthew was born and raised in Columbia where he graduated from White Knoll High School, Class of 2012. He received his B.A. in Philosophy Cum Laude from The University of South Carolina in 2016 and his J.D. in 2019 from The University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Matthew also participated in the Domestic Violence Clinic where he helped assist those who were victims of domestic abuse. Matthew is admitted to practice in the State of South Carolina where his primary focus is in civil defense and real estate litigation. Being a lifelong resident of Columbia, South Carolina, Matthew is also a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Outside the office, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family and running.

Patrick J. Frawley

Education Michigan State University (1969-71); University of South Carolina (B.A. 1980); University of South Carolina School of Law (1983). Patrick J. Frawley joined the Law Firm in 1983, following his graduation from the University of South Carolina School of Law. A native of Saginaw, Michigan, Pat attended Michigan State University for three years following high school, left Michigan State to work in a General Motors Plant for a year, then moved to South Carolina in 1973. After serving in the United States Army for three years, Pat completed his B.A. degree in English from the University of South Carolina in 1980, and went directly on to law school. While in law school, Pat served as the Editor-in-Chief of the South Carolina Law Review from 1982-83. Pat is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, served as a member of the House of Delegates in 1992-93, and is a member of the Resolution of Fee Dispute Board for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, having so served since 2006. He has been a member of the Lexington County Bar Association since 1983, having served as its President in 1994, and was a Board Member of the Lexington County Defender Agency, Inc. from 1999-2004. Pat is licensed to practice before the U. S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the United States 4 th Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as all South Carolina State Courts. Pat practices primarily on the defense side of civil litigation, including appeals, in State and Federal Courts. Residing in Lexington since 1978, Pat and his wife, Barbara, have three grown sons and five grandchildren.

Ryan M. Wingard

Education Clemson University, 2004, Charleston School of Law, 2007. Ryan M. Wingard joined Davis Frawley, LLC, as an attorney in November of 2007. Ryan was born and raised in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School, Class of 2000. He received his B.S. in Management in 2004 from Clemson University. He received his J.D. in 2007 from Charleston School of Law. Ryan concentrates his practice in the area of real estate law, including residential closings, commercial real estate transactions and real estate litigation. Ryan is a member of the South Carolina Bar, American Bar Association, Lexington County Bar Association, and the Palmetto Land Title Association. Ryan is married to the former Ellen Elliott of St. Matthews, South Carolina. They reside in Lexington with their daughters, Mary Elliott and Caroline. Ryan is an avid outdoorsman, and his hobbies include hunting and fishing.

Sara M. Bunge

Sara M. Bunge joined Davis Frawley, LLC, as an attorney in February of 2023. Sara was born and raised in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School, Class of 1990. She earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice in 1994 from the University of South Carolina and received her J.D. in 1999 from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Upon graduating from law school, Sara served as the Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Marc H. Westbrook from 1999-2000. During her 26 years of state government service, Sara also worked at various times for the University of South Carolina Police Department, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, the 5th, 9th, and 11th Judicial Circuit Solicitor's Offices in both General Sessions and Family Court, as well as for the Town of Lexington as a Municipal Court Judge and the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice as the Assistant General Counsel. In 2013, Sara won the Ernest Fritz Hollings Award for Excellence in Family Court Prosecution. Sara concentrates her practice in the area of civil litigation defense. Sara is a member of the South Carolina and Georgia (inactive) Bar Associations and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. Sara is married to Ricardo Bunge, a University of South Carolina School of Law graduate, Class of 2008. They reside in Lexington and are parishioners of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Sara is a proud parent of a son who has been accepted to Clemson University, Class of 2027. Sara enjoys traveling, exercising, and being outdoors.
