Dr. Alice Farrell is the President and CEO of Olive Branch Clinical and Consulting Services, LLC. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who also holds a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. She is the Assistant Pastor of the Springfield Church of God of Prophecy. Alice has worked in the Human Services field for over twenty three years. She has served in the capacity of a consultant to local agencies, the Director of Children Behavioral Health Services at a local agency and as the Vice President of the Systems Department at Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership where she oversaw the behavioral health service delivery gap analysis and planning activities of the local System Managers. She serves as Co-Chair to the CT Department of Children and Families Region IV Adviosry Council, is the CT Office of Early Childhood Triple P Clinical Consultant and is credentialed in evidence based Triple P Positive Parenting Program Levels 3 & 4, Discussion Groups and Seminar Series. Alice served as an, Interim Chief Executive Officer for a Joint Commissioned Accredited Community Based Behavioral Health Organization, Interim Executive Director for an Adolescent and Teen maternity home and directed a variety of programs including sexual abuse program, anger management program, substance treatment, intensive in home psychiatric services and gender specific programs. She has written numerous behavioral health and support related grants and has provided consultation services in the areas of leadership, professional and organizational development; staff and executive coaching and staff performance based interventions. She has utilized her extensive experiences in the behavioral health delivery system and her legal training to provide leadership in the development of local systems of care and related collaborations/networks and is one of four authors of the article "Characteristics of Urban and Nonurban Youth Enrolled in a Statewide System-of-Care Initiative Serving Children and Families" which is published in the Journal of Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, Vol. 12, No. 4, 236-246 (2004). Alice has conducted trainings and workshops on topics including Positive Parenting, Cultural Competence-Proficiency, Self Esteem, Organizational Assessment and Staff Development, Team Building, Use of Evidence Based programming, Addressing Disparity within the Juvenile Justice System, Using Afrocentric Model in Behavioral Health, The Plight of the African American Male, System of Care/Wrap Around Approach, Effective Leadership in Residential/Group Home Care and Understanding the Behavioral Health Landscape of CT. She has presented at various functions as the key note speaker including at the Connecticut Association for School Social Workers, Springfield College Master of Social Work annual Social Workers month celebration on the topic of the Intersection of Social Work and Law, The Value of Faith Based community and organizations to the Behavioral Health and Substance Treatment Provider Network, H.O.P.E.
