OMR ARCHITECTS - Key Persons
Javier Ramirez is a Senior Designer and has been with OMR for 22 years. Javier has extensive experience in campus planning, studies, and design of school buildings of all types, with a particular expertise in independent school work. His work includes numerous buildings at the Salisbury School in CT, most notably the new Boathouse and new Athletic Center. Javier received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College in Boston, MA.
Martin Kretsch, AIA, LEED® AP, Principal, serves as CFO and treasurer for OMR and accordingly, deals with financial and contractural matters for all clients. With over 40 years of architectural experience, he plays a key role in all major projects at OMR, and has led the firm's public work for years. Marty earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
Ron Steffek, RA, Principal, has extensive experience in building technology and serves as the Technical Director at OMR. Ron has practiced architecture for over 40 years and has been with OMR for 13 years. He has worked on many educational facilities projects including construction of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in Sudbury, MA and Willard Elementary School in Concord, MA. Ron received his architectural education at Ohio University and Ohio State University.
