Tanya is the driving force behind Pandora Kennels. She has over 35 years of experience in professional animal care, and a degree in animal welfare and behaviour. Furthermore, Tanya has over 16 years of experience with White Swiss Shepherd dogs, training, showing, and later breeding. Putting in immense effort in finding ways to improve the quality of the breed in New Zealand... "Pandora kennels didn't sprout from wanting to make money by breeding puppies. I had wanted a White Swiss Shepherd for many years and when that finally happened, my love for them grew to the point of wanting to give other people the opportunity to have such an amazing animal as their best friend." The long coated White Swiss Shepherds weren't very common in New Zealand when Tanya started breeding. But most importantly she wanted to improve the temperament to a more friendly and trainable dog.
