Job Titles:
  • Community Leader
  • Founder
  • Retired
Our founder, Joseph Perry, began full time law practice in Bonner Springs, Kansas, in May 1977, in an office on Front Street. In 1981 Joe refurbished the Professional Building at 144 No. Nettleton Avenue, and in September 1982 brought in Danny Trent, another recent K U Law graduate to do primarily domestic relations, and civil and criminal litigation. With Joe focused on transactional work with business clients, life and estate planning, and probate work, the relationship continued becoming Perry and Trent, L.L.C. in 1998. Shane Lillich joined the firm in late 2001, and Rhonda and Tony Levinson joined in 2013. Over the years Joe has been a community leader, a valued mentor to young attorneys{ particularly with his partners, and has guided our practice skillfully, and patiently. In 2018, our colleague, Joe Perry, will complete his much deserved and anticipated retirement from law practice. We wish him well, and promise to continue the same competent and caring legal representation he has modeled for 41 years.
