Considered to be one of the top orthopaedic surgeons in Frisco, Dr. Dan Maurer provides comprehensive orthopaedic care to the Frisco and North Texas area. He combines advanced medical techniques with state-of-the-art equipment to provide a high level of orthopaedic care for his patients.
Dr. Maurer is assisted by one of the areas top Physician Assistants, Nicole Godlewski, MPAS, PA-C.
Dr. Maurer earned his Bachelor of Arts from Miami University in 1998. Upon completion of his B.A., he earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002 and performed his internship and residency at Affinity Medical Center in Massillon, Ohio.
Dr. Maurer then pursued and completed his fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California. Additionally, Dr. Maurer is Board Certified in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Maurer is currently the team physician for McKinney North High School in McKinney, TX and Wakeland High School in Frisco, TX.
Dr. Maurer's hobbies include traveling, weight-lifting, and spending quality time with his family.
Mark Lessner, M.D. is quickly establishing himself as a top orthopaedic surgeon in Frisco, TX. As a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with specialty training in sports medicine and arthroscopy, he is passionate about helping athletes of all levels to get back in the game.
Dr Lessner completed medical school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock. After that, he completed his general orthopaedic residency at The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City and then headed to Cincinnati for a sports medicine fellowship.
His fellowship solidified his passion for sports medicine and orthopaedic care for athletes. During his sports medicine fellowship, Dr. Lessner was an assistant team physician for both the Cincinnati Bengals, an NFL football team and The University of Cincinnati sports teams. He also had the opportunity to serve as a physician for men's and women's professional tennis and sand volleyball tournaments.
Dr. Lessner is trained to manage all areas of orthopaedic care. His interests lie in care of athletes of all ages and levels, as well as advanced arthroscopy and surgery of the shoulder and knee. He is a proud member of the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Mark Lessner knows the North Texas area very well. He attended Allen High School, where he played football. Dr. Lessner now lives in McKinney with his wife Beth and their three children.
Dr. Troy Diehl is considered to be a top orthopaedic surgeon in Frisco, TX and provides comprehensive orthopaedic care to the local community and the North Texas area. He is one of the few physicians in North Texas that has specialized training in hip arthroscopy. He also received specialized training in the Oxford partial knee arthroplasty. He is assisted by one of Frisco's most experienced Physician Assistants, Trisha Fennell, PA-C.
Dr. Diehl earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Summa Health Systems-Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Akron, OH, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Wellington Orthopaedics and the University of Cincinnati. During his fellowship with the Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Diehl participated treating collegiate as well as professional athletes from the NFL, ATP, and AVP.
Dr. Diehl is currently the team physician for McKinney High School in McKinney, TX, Heritage High School in Frisco, TX as well as the Frisco Lacrosse Association.
Dr. Diehl resides in Frisco with his wife and their two children. His hobbies include golfing, skiing, and spending quality time with his family.
