Ahmed Pekin

Ahmed Pekin is the founding senior partner of Pekin & Pekin, established in 1971 in Istanbul and now one of the most prestigious and largest independent corporate firms in Turkey. Renowned as an outstanding attorney, Ahmed Pekin has an unrivalled breadth of knowledge across many practice areas. Anıl Acar

Anıl Acar focuses on phases of M&A projects; participates in due diligence processes, post-closing support, business integration, and corporate governance matters. He advises local and multinational clients in the food and beverage, manufacturing, industrial equipment manufacturing (heating solutions, machinery, etc.), and payment solutions sectors on corporate and commercial law matters for drafting and reviewing numerous types of commercial contracts; and daily corporate maintenance tasks. He is also experienced in competition law matters, merger controls, vertical agreements, and exemption assessments in the pharmaceutical, aviation, steel, chemicals, technology, textile, construction, media and entertainment, and industrial manufacturing sectors. He has represented distinguished multinational corporations before the Turkish Competition Authority and participated in more than 30 merger notifications concerning complex transactions. He regularly writes articles in respected law journals and periodicals. Before joining Pekin & Pekin, he spent a year at the University of Vienna to pursue an LL.M. degree and worked as an associate in an eminent law firm in Istanbul.

Erdem Atilla heads the Dispute Resolution practice in the Firm. He mainly provides consultancy and legal representation on commercial law, labor law, the law of obligations, restructuring and insolvency-related matters. He has been involved in a wide range of lawsuits including commercial disputes, employment disputes, criminal proceedings, administrative disputes, execution and bankruptcy proceedings, debt collection proceedings, compensation lawsuits, consumer disputes, disputes arising from contracts having an international aspect as well as contracts subject to Turkish Law. He advises and represents international and local clients from a wide range of sectors including automotive, banking and finance, consumer products and retail, energy and natural resources, hospitality and leisure, industrial manufacturing and service industries, infrastructure, insurance, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, biotechnology, real estate, construction, telecommunications, media, technology, transportation, logistics, and defense. Fethi Pekin - CEO

Fethi Pekin has been serving as the Managing Partner at Pekin & Pekin since 1996. He is highly regarded in the fields of Banking & Finance and Corporate/M&A, particularly for his expertise in complex cross-border transactions related to M&A and project finance. During the M&A boom of 2005-2006, he played a pivotal role in advising on numerous deals in the banking and telecommunications sectors. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2008, he extended his advisory work to include sectors such as media, energy, services, and health. Notably, renewable energy became a major focus area in 2009, while financial services gained his interest in 2010. Fethi continues to actively engage within these practice areas. As Managing Partner, Fethi also responsible of developing new networks with international counsel and driving the progressive vision of Pekin & Pekin as a client-oriented legal service provider. Fethi is a board member of Fenerbahçe in charge of legal affairs. He is dedicated to his football club Fenerbahçe. Fırat Yalçın

Fırat Yalçın heads the Corporate, M&A and Tax practice in the Firm. He has a broad range of corporate and commercial experience, including domestic and cross-border M&A and spin-off transactions, corporate restructurings and reorganizations, civil disputes, tax disputes, and tax inspections. Fırat has led many cross-border M&A transactions and provided comprehensive legal advice for local and multinational holdings and group companies on their corporate restructuring projects. He advises on tax matters in major transactions, corporate reorganizations and M&As, and tax structuring projects. His clients span in a wide range of sectors; such as technology, automotive, banking and finance, real estate, consumer products, online retailers, energy, infrastructure, and defense. Göze Yıldırım

Göze Yıldırım focuses on complex cross-border and domestic capital markets, derivatives and banking and finance transactions. She represents both lenders and borrowers in sophisticated financing transactions. She advises on regulatory matters including legal compliance and data protection issues. She has been actively engaged in Islamic finance, project finance, acquisition finance and other banking and finance transactions. She has a valuable experience in capital markets, as well as derivatives transactions, and regularly advises on regulatory matters in the capital markets area. She also provides legal assistance to major firms in relation to crypto currencies. Göze joined Pekin & Pekin in 2018.
