D. Lee Pitisci is a 3rd generation Tampa native. He graduated high school from H. B. Plant high school in 1981, received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Florida in 1985, and received his law degree from Cumberland school of Law in 1988. He was admitted to the Florida bar in 1988 and is also admitted to the U. S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. He is also a member of the Florida Justice Association.
He began his practice representing numerous insurance companies litigating cases in both state and federal court. Since 1992 he has represented individuals and their families who have been injured as a result of the negligence of others. Throughout the years, he has litigated cases primarily in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, and trucking litigation. He is A-V rated by Martindale Hubbell.
Howard P. Markowitz is a third generation Florida resident, who was raised in Jacksonville, Florida, where he graduated from Wolfson High School in 1985. He then received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1989. He went on to obtain his law degree graduating from Stetson University College of Law, and since 1993 has been an active member of a Florida Bay focusing his efforts to assist persons who have been injured as a result of others. He is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. He is also a member of the Florida Justice Association. He has handled thousands of matters since 1993 involving personal injuries, wrongful death, premises liability, workers' compensation and insurance disputes. He works directly with his clients which has enabled him to obtain favorable settlements for his clients and their families both presuit and in litigation. Since 1993, Mr. Markowitz has worked exclusively on behalf injured persons in order to help them obtain the settlements and compensation they deserve.
J. D. Dowell was born and raised in Tampa having attended H. B. Plant high school in 1981. He then obtained his bachelor of science degree in finance from Florida State University in 1985, and received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1988. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida. He is also a member of the Florida Justice Administration.
From 1988 to 1993, he was a member of Holland & Knight where he litigated commercial disputes, personal injury, products liability, and toxic tort matters. Since 1993 when he joined his current partners, he has devoted his practice to persons severely injured and families of loved ones killed as a result of the negligence of individuals and corporations. He has litigated cases involving personal injuries, wrongful death, product liability, premises liability, insurance disputes, sports law, and trucking litigation. His vast experience in litigating in trying cases to verdict has resulted in settlements and awards for our clients suffering through the worst times of their lives.
