I have worked on many custom homes - involving all phases of construction. Spending many years as a framer - I honed my skills until good enough to be a finish specialist. Although I can run all trades of subcontractors - I consider myself a "bags-on" builder, not a "windshield "drive-around contractor... I like the daily challenge of assessing the task at hand and actually physically participating in its completion. I have worked with lots of homeowners directly, and many contractors / subcontractors full time, all requiring diligence and attention to detail. There is a "standard" - it's called perfection! Though hard to obtain it remains as our goal with installing of any building material!!... I enjoy the reward and beauty of a high quality completed project - where the end result is equal to more than the sum of its parts. A lot of hard work goes into making something beautiful. What started out as a pile of lumber ends up being your cozy home. Pride of workmanship is a given...
