Porcupine Wood Products Ltd. was established in 1993, in Salmo, British Columbia - the south-east corner of the province. The facility consists of a sawmill with a small and large log breakdown line, a planner mill, and a re-manufacturing plant. The business is family owned and operated, with over 35 years of experience in the forest industry... We produce cedar products that are among the best, if not the very best available. We are certified under Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) in the spring of 2009... We are a fully integrated forest company. Our model is to extract value from the logs we process, starting with the harvesting of Western Red Cedar logs and through to the finished product. Using this model, we can do more with the sustainable wood basket we have to work with.
