Allison Braly

Allison Braly is the VP of Diagnostic Strategy at PathAI, where she is responsible for the identification and implementation of new strategic initiatives that enhance PathAI's technology-enabled anatomic pathology lab. Prior to PathAI, Allison was the VP of Clinical Services at Amwell, a telemedicine company, where she led the day-to-day provider operations of the Amwell Medical Group. At Amwell, Allison led her division through the height of the COVID-19 crisis, contributing to the company's successful IPO. Allison has spent her entire career in the healthcare space, spanning digital health, medtech, and biotech, and in a variety of roles that include clinical operations, strategy, BD, product marketing, and product development. Allison has her MBA from Duke University, and her BS in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University.

Amaro Taylor-Weiner

Amaro Taylor-Weiner, PhD, is the VP of Machine Learning at PathAI, where he is responsible for machine learning product research and development to enable PathAI's mission of improving patient care using AI powered digital pathology. Amaro has worked at PathAI for over 3 years, in his previous role he was the founding member and Director of the Biomedical Data Science and Engineering teams. During his time as Director, Amaro led research efforts in machine learning and translational research programs resulting in patents and publications demonstrating the promise of machine learning for pathology. Prior to PathAI, Amaro was the head of Data Science at Nabla Bio, a computational antibody design company, where he led the development of novel machine learning methods for protein engineering. Amaro has spent his entire career in computational medicine and has led research efforts in cancer genetics, drug development, and precision medicine. Amaro has his PhD from Harvard University, and his BS in Philosophy and Cognitive Science from Tufts University.

Andy Beck - CEO, Founder

Andy earned his MD from Brown Medical School and completed residency and fellowship training in Anatomic Pathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology from Stanford University. He completed a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University, where he developed one of the first machine-learning based systems for cancer pathology. He's been certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology. Prior to co-founding PathAI, he was on the faculty of Harvard Medical School in the Department of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He has published over 110 papers in the fields of cancer biology, cancer pathology, and biomedical informatics.

Ben Glass

Ben Glass is Head of Algorithm Products at PathAI. Ben leads the Algorithm Products organization at PathAI, managing a team of talented product managers and scientists in the development of a machine learning-based algorithm portfolio. Ben's teams oversee the conception, development, and launch of machine learning products at PathAI. Prior to joining PathAI, Ben was a member of the Beck Lab at Harvard Medical School/BIDMC, focusing on applying computational methods for pathology and genomics research. Ben completed his MS in Bioinformatics focusing on computational methods at Northeastern University and has a BS in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Brandon Eldredge - CFO

Brandon Eldredge is Chief Financial Officer at PathAI. Brandon is responsible for the finance and accounting activities of the organization. Brandon joins PathAI most recently from Mass General Brigham, where he served as Chief Clinical Business Officer overseeing the creation and execution of the organization's strategic growth initiatives. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development at Syneos Health, a leading biopharma services organization. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Mobility and Services business of Aptiv PLC (now Motional). Brandon has also held leadership roles at ThermoFisher Scientific and Barclays Capital.

Chris Kirby - Chief Legal Officer

Chris Kirby is General Counsel at PathAI. He has more than 20 years of legal and business management experience within the health care and life sciences sectors. Chris joined the company from Boston Children's Hospital, where he served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Prior to Boston Children's Hospital, he held leadership roles at Forma Therapeutics and Genzyme Corporation. Before joining Genzyme, Chris practiced at Ropes & Gray LLP, where he advised health care providers, private equity sponsors, biotech and other emerging technology companies on a broad range of corporate matters and financing transactions. Chris holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D.. from The George Washington University Law School, and an M.P.H. from The George Washington University School of Public Health.

Don O'Neill

Don O'Neill is the VP of Engineering at PathAI. Don leads the Product Engineering team. Don's team supports our BioPharma and Diagnostics businesses by developing the PathAI platforms and products and delivering our AI Models across many mission critical use cases. Don is also responsible for PathAI's SRE, Security, and IT teams. Prior to joining PathAI, Don was the VP of Engineering, Operations and Infrastructure at TripAdvisor, overseeing the operation of the company's Web site, software, hardware and networking infrastructure. TripAdvisor is the world's largest travel site, with over 988 million reviews and opinions and over 500 million average monthly unique visitors. Don has twenty plus years' experience implementing and articulating software product strategy, leading major development efforts, and operating mission critical systems and infrastructure. Don has a Masters degree in Software Engineering from Brandeis University.

Dr. Eric Walk

Dr. Eric Walk is Chief Medical Officer at PathAI in Boston, MA. He is head of the Medical group, overseeing Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Affairs. Eric has over 20 years of experience in precision medicine, oncology drug development and IVD companion diagnostics development. Prior to joining PathAI, he was Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Roche Tissue Diagnostics/Ventana Medical Systems, where he led Medical & Scientific Affairs, overseeing the development and FDA clearance/approval of over 20 510k and PMA IVD assays, companion diagnostics and digital pathology algorithms. Eric began his industry career at Novartis Oncology, where he held positions in Early Clinical Development and Translational Medicine, working to implement biomarker and precision medicine strategies for early and late stage targeted oncology therapeutics. Eric is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Johns Hopkins University and holds a MD degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists (CAP). He currently is a member of the CAP Personalized Healthcare Committee.

Elizabeth Storti is Chief People Officer at PathAI. Elizabeth is responsible for people & culture, including talent management and people operations, as well as talent acquisition. During her time at PathAI, she has led the company's $240M in financing over multiple fundraises, helmed the acquisition of Poplar Healthcare and the integration of Poplar employees into PathAI, designed and optimized compensation and benefits as the company rapidly scaled, and oversaw the creation of the new headquarters as well as several key initiatives to promote diversity and culture. Prior to PathAI Elizabeth led finance at Vestmark where she focused on overseeing the financial operations and financial planning of the company, spent 4 years at Bain Capital, and also in various public accounting roles. Jim Sweeney - President

Jim Sweeney is Diagnostics President at PathAI. Prior to PathAI's acquisition of Poplar Healthcare, an industry-leading independent anatomic pathology laboratory, Jim served as Chief Executive Officer of Poplar since 2014. With over 35 years of experience in the healthcare, diagnostic, and information technology industries, he has held a variety of executive leadership positions. Previously, Jim was Senior Vice President for Modis, Inc. managing multiple operations; including the key strategic business practices and national accounts programs. Prior to Modis, he worked for Neuromedical Systems, a diagnostic pathology company, serving first as the Vice President of Sales, North America, and then as Vice President of International Business Development. Jim began his career in healthcare with DIANON Systems serving in a variety of sales and management roles. Jim is a graduate of Gettysburg College earning a BA in Economics. He also served five years as a U.S. Army officer in the Corps of Engineers.

Jon Glickman

Jon Glickman is VP and Head of Translational Pathology at PathAI, where he is responsible for overseeing an internal and external network of hundreds of board certified pathologists. He participates in the development of diagnostic algorithms developed at PathAI and plays a lead role in the NASH program. Prior to joining PathAI, Jon was the Director of Surgical Pathology and of Gastrointestinal Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Associate Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School, in Boston, MA. In addition to his 20+ years of clinical experience in diagnostic surgical and gastrointestinal/liver pathology, Jon has spent his career actively engaged in teaching, and in translational research primarily focused on histologic diagnosis and biomarkers in gastrointestinal disorders such as Barrett's esophagus, inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer. He has maintained productive collaborations with laboratories investigating the basic mechanisms of inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal and hepatobiliary carcinogenesis. Jon is an author of over 120 papers in gastrointestinal and liver pathology and pathobiology, as well as reviews and textbook chapters on these topics. Jon also served as Director of GI Pathology for a major commercial anatomic pathology laboratory. Jon received an MD/PhD from Washington University in St. Louis, an M. Phil. in Cell Biology from Cambridge University (UK), and a BS in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics from Yale University. He completed his anatomic pathology residency and gastrointestinal/liver pathology fellowship training at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

Katy Wack

Katy Wack is the Vice President of Clinical Development and Regulatory affairs, joining the PathAI team in November of 2019. In addition to leading all clinical and regulatory strategy, she designed and led PathAI's Clinical Trial Services Program and spearheaded the AIM- NASH Drug Development Tool qualification effort. She brings clinical and scientific expertise through her decade of work in drug development and digital pathology. Previous to PathAI, she served as Vice President of Development for an oncolytic virus company in co-development with Pfizer, leading IND-enabling preclinical, assay and process development, and CMC activities. Prior to that, Katy served as Lead Clinical Scientist at a digital pathology company, where she led a 4-site PMA clinical study for primary diagnosis, publishing and patenting novel analytical methodologies. Katy earned her BS in Biological Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon, her MS in Liver Tissue Engineering and Toxicology from M.I.T., and her PhD from University of Pittsburgh in Cell Biology and Pathology, using quantitative imaging to study age-related chronic kidney disease.

Lety Soto

Lety Soto is the VP of Quality and Compliance at PathAI, where she is responsible for the Quality Assurance and Compliance programs for software products and tools, and for the biopharma lab quality. She is the original author of the PathAI Quality Management System, which is certified to 13484:2016 and MDSAP for 21CFR820. Prior to joining PathAI in 2018, Lety had led quality organizations in the medical device industry for over 20 years, specializing in software quality. She has implemented quality systems at numerous companies bringing them through to certification and has led several successful FDA inspections. Over 30 years' experience in quality and quality systems include work on retinal imaging devices, single-use surgical instruments, spinal implants, and blood analyzers. Lety has her SB from MIT in Mechanical Engineering.

Mike Montalto

Mike Montalto of PathAI has experience developing digital pathology diagnostic products and driving cutting-edge translational research in a large biopharmaceutical setting. Mike joined PathAI in November 2019 to use AI-powered pathology to support the development of new therapies and diagnostics for patients. Prior to joining PathAI, Mike led the majority of clinical biomarker central laboratories in Translational Medicine at Bristol-Myers Squibb including translational and digital pathology, immunohistochemistry, clinical genomics, clinical flow cytometry, pre-clinical and clinical non-invasive imaging, biorepository and clinical biomarker sample operations in support of all therapeutic areas for global clinical trials, precision medicine, and companion diagnostics development. Prior to BMS, Montalto was a co-founder and executive of Omnyx, LLC, a joint venture of GE Healthcare and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center that commercialized diagnostic pathology imaging and software products. Prior to this, Montalto was the Molecular Imaging and Diagnostics Advanced Technology Leader at General Electric, where he was a lead inventor of MultiOmyxâ„¢, a proprietary pathology-based multiplexing technology for biomarker discovery. Throughout his career, Mike had a passion for advancing imaging technologies toward unmet scientific and medical needs in a commercial setting to be able to impact patients. Mike has served as a member of NIH study sections for in vivo molecular imaging centers, designed and led global clinical trials for the registration of digital pathology devices and served as a board member and president of the Digital Pathology Association (DPA). Under his leadership, the DPA successfully collaborated with the FDA to establish industry wide regulatory guidance and clinical trial designs for the clinical use of digital pathology devices. He currently serves on the DPA executive committee as immediate past-president, and on the DPA Foundation's board of directors. Dr. Montalto earned his PhD in tumor biology from Albany Medical College and received his post-doctoral training in anti-inflammatory drug discovery and whole animal physiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Before joining PathAI he worked at Foundation Medicine in corporate strategy and also at McKinsey & Company in healthcare strategy consulting. Taf obtained an MD from Harvard Medical School and holds graduate degrees in Immunology and Global Health from Oxford. He studied Biology as an undergraduate at Swarthmore College. Taf is an internal medicine physician and licensed to practice in Massachusetts.

At Disney, her strategy and M&A leadership drove significant revenue growth and helped turn the business profitable. Tiffany previously worked at both Bain Consulting and Citigroup Investment Banking, where she enabled technology companies to reach the next phase of growth.
