P.R.O.B.E. is a 501(c )(3) non-profit organization; therefore, any donation is tax deductible as allowable by law... P.R.O.B.E. (Potential Reentry Opportunities in Business and Education) began in 1978 as a Penn State project founded by Dr. Kathryn Towns. P.R.O.B.E.'s primary goal is to enable displaced homemakers (those that are separated, widowed, or divorced), single parents, and pregnant/parenting teens, to enter and remain in the workforce... P.R.O.B.E. provides intensive career counseling, career readiness classes, new skills training, child care, and transportation resources. Our counseling process is specifically designed for displaced homemakers and single parents to achieve economic independence for themselves and their families. Additional support services also continue throughout placement in training or jobs.
