Quantaflux, LLC was founded in 1995 in San Jose, California, and is now headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. Initially, our primary product was thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLDs), manufacturing and processing. TLDs are small devices used to measure radiation dose. Our TLD customers are primarily cancer therapy centers with need to test radiation generating machines and to monitor radiation dose to patients undergoing therapy. Two other services initially offered and later discontinued were a leak testing service which involved assaying cotton swab samples for radioactivity and a radiation survey meter calibration service.
