RAC was formed in 1977. Since then, team members have brought together technical skills and problem-solving experiences from a wide variety of disciplines. This format allows us to obtain the skills of talented scientists who may contribute to projects on a part- or full-time basis and are free to live and work where they choose, ensuring that we are competitive in the marketplace and provide high quality work as a team. Team capabilities include dose and risk assessment, on-site and off-site monitoring, data evaluation, process engineering, environmental transport modeling, database development and use, geographic information systems integrated with databases and assessment models, radiation biology, and interactive public involvement.
