Ruairi is a graduate of the University of Limerick with a degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering; He is a registered Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Engineers of Ireland.
Ruairi has a facilities management, Design Engineering and Power Management background with extensive experience in the facilities management areas.
His extensive work experience includes 14 years at Analog Devices:
9 years of which were spent in a class 1 clean room where he was involved in the facilities department for a 6 wafer Fabrication area in Analog's Limerick Facility.
5 years were spent as a Design Evaluation Engineer where he was involved in the design of 16 bit DAC's (Digital to Analogue Convertors). This role saw him co-coordinating the activities of teams of engineers of up to 30 members and ensuring that the various projects that he was in charge of made the critical milestones as defined by the team.
Ruairi has also worked at the Intel Wafer Fabrication Facility In Leixlip Co. Kildare, where he spent 2 years as Cluster Equipment Co-coordinator within the Metal Etch area.This involved the management of all maintenance personnel and co-ordination of maintenance programmes & facilities works within the 8 wafer fabrication facility.
