RANGIURA

Rangiura Charitable Trust Board was formed in 1975 following the South Waikato's Districts desire to build a Residential Home for the elderly. The land for the home was generously donated by the late Wally and Dot Grey and the local community then fundraised a significant amount to enable the Home to be constructed debt free. In 1981 a 30 bed rest home was proudly opened. Due to increasing demand for Services Rangiura has continued to develop and we now have the capacity to support up to 80 residents on site. In 2010 Fern Haven House, our Memory Support Unit opened and in 2015 a further expansion of the main Rest home was completed. A further two phases are planned going into the future.
