Terry Mah was born, raised, and educated in Lethbridge. He is proud of his hometown roots along with being the first generation of his family born in Canada.
Terry started his career as a financial planner in 1995 after graduating from the University of Lethbridge. He holds a Bachelor of Management (B.Mgt.) degree with a double major in accounting and marketing.
Since beginning his career, he has received the following industry designations:
Chartered Financial Planner (CFP), 1998: Certification provides assurance that the planner is committed to internationally recognize professional standards of competence, ethics and practice as set and enforced in Canada by the Financial Planning Standards Council. This is the industry gold standard in financial planning.
Financial Management Advisor (FMA), 2006: Designation holders are recognized as expert professionals who can provide the advanced service and advice to meet the needs of affluent clients.
Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), 2006: The FCSI is awarded to industry professionals whose superior training and experience exemplify excellence. It is recognized as the highest honour in the financial services industry.
Chartered Strategic Wealth Professional (CSWP), 2010: The CSWP is a specialized designation. It is the only wealth management designation that caters specifically to the complex financial needs of affluent clients.
