David Spenser

With over 30 years of research experience, David has a wide range of experience in communications research across a variety of markets in strategic and creative development. He specializes in projects involving innovation, change, strategic development, and communications including: Advertising; Packaging; Design and Online channels. David pioneered the use of integrated client-consumer dialogue teams to spark innovation, and achieve impetus in new development. Recently, this unique method of research has expanded and now includes integrated methods (by melding traditional focus groups, interviews, etc. with online bulletin boards and chat rooms) and ethnographic approaches. David holds both a Bachelor Degree and a Doctorate Degree in Psychology. He founded RDSi in 1984 where he held the position of Chairman. David has been a full member of MRS since 1984; in 1989, he won MRS Gold Medal for qualitative research. He is a current member of QRCA. With well over 25 years of market research experience, Louise Saint-Pierre has refined the art of mining for information pertinent to a client's marketing objectives and relative to the target group being queried. Be it to identify new business or product opportunities, elaborate marketing activities or strategies, Louise Saint-Pierre Recherche Marketing provides reliable expertise in the field of qualitative analysis as it relates to consumer behaviour and attitudes in such areas of expertise as focus groups, in-depth interviews, brainstorming sessions, questionnaire and research tools development, research analysis and reporting and, translation of research findings (French / English). Sharon Archibald

Sharon brings a broad range of market research experience in the conduct of studies in the educational, social services, human resources, tourism, cultural, telecommunications, utilities, gaming, health care, environmental, real estate, postal, agricultural sectors and more. Her client base traditionally includes both private and public sector companies. Sharon is an experienced market research consultant and qualitative research practitioner. Her market research skills have been developed over more than 20 years of employment in the research sector. Her background includes experience in both quantitative and qualitative techniques and methodologies. She has conducted research with consumers and employees in areas such as communications development and evaluation, attitude and image studies, brand development and equity, product development, consumer and employee opinion and attitude, client satisfaction, public policy development and program evaluation, to name a few. Prior to establishing Refresh Market Research, Sharon was a Research Associate with Nucleus Strategy and Research (Research arm of Cossette Atlantic). Before that, she was sole owner of Opus Market Research, a one-person full-service market research company, and a Research Associate with Corporate Research Associates. She is a member of the Marketing Research Intelligence Association (MRIA) and holds a Certified Marketing Research Professional (CMRP) designation from that association. She is a current member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association, and a member of ESOMAR, a world organization for enabling better research into markets, consumers and societies. Sharon is also past Board Chair (Volunteer Committee) of the Salvation Army in Saint John (NB); current Advisory Board Member, Salvation Army, Halifax (NS); past Research Chair, Community Autism Centre, Saint John (NB); past member of the Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Committee (HEPAC) of New Brunswick; and, Chair, PR and Marketing, Laing House Inaugural Ball. In 2009, Sharon was nominated for RBC Woman Entrepreneur of the Year.
