Colton first and foremost loves being a husband and a father. As a man in recovery, he takes pride in his ability to have an impact on those who are still suffering from addiction. Colton has had an extensive background in having gone through many treatment centers as a client and now finds great fullfilment working with those battling with addiction. Colton is a massive force for good and has and will continue to make a difference in the lives of others.

Dave Callister

Dave graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a Master's degree in Social Work. In addition to his formal education, he has been in recovery from substance dependence since 1999. During his own struggle with addiction, Dave found light and purpose through the 12-step program, and has been passionate about sharing the message of hope and healing ever since. He has worked with youth, adults, and families suffering from addiction and mental illness at multiple programs including LifeLine For Youth, Lakeview Hospital, University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute (UNI), and Renaissance Ranch Residential and Outpatient Programs. Aside from his work, Dave loves the outdoors, playing golf, spending time with family, and listening to music and playing the guitar.

Lane Porter

Lane Porter is the Admissions Director with Renaissance Ranch. He has 13 years of experience in the addiction field. He is licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State of Utah. He has held national board certifications as both a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Masters Addiction Counselor (MAC): from the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. Lane received his MS from the University of Phoenix: Masters of Science of Mental Health Counseling and his Bachelors from Utah State University: Bachelor of Psychology, where he was Summa Cum Laude and Department Valedictorian. Lane has expertise in addiction, the neuro-physiology of addiction, cognitive restructuring, Therapeutic communities, Contingency Mgmt., Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Behavioral Modification. He is a certified Trainer and Teacher of Mind Body Bridging (MBB). He is Nationally certified in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). Lane served as the Director of Clinical Services for First Step House and was the founder and owner of Fresh Start Behavioral Services. He has expertise and experience in training on the American Society of Addiction Medicine's Patient Placement Criteria (ASAM Criteria), conducting clinical quality assurance, grant writing, and clinical marketing.

Marshall Parnell

Marshall Parnell is the Renaissance Ranch martial arts Master instructor. Master Parnell helps the clients wake up 3 days a week with a mind, body, and will workout. Using his 42 years of marital arts experience and Marine Corps service he trains the clients to develop themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. The workouts consist of technical martial arts skills, strength training, flexibility, reaction time, agility, philosophy, nutrition, and meditation. When the schedule allows it, the clients also get to train at his school, Lotus Blossom Martial Arts, founded in 2000. In addition to training the clients while they reside at the Renaissance Ranch, Master Parnell regularly organizes classes for the clients while they continue with the IOP program.

Richard Salvitti - COO

Richard Salvitti is our Director of Operations in Utah. Richard's years of experience in leadership training, management, and service lend to making the Ranch a special place for our Men. For the better part of the last decade he's been overseeing operations for us, and so much more. Richard is the glue to our Therapeutic Community and the group. His constant care, thoughtfulness, accountability, and foresight lend to a structured environment of love and genuine recovery. He's the first one to be thanked at graduation ceremonies, which speaks volumes of his involvement and character. He exemplifies our company values of connection, love, sacrifice, faith, enthusiasm, and integrity. We are so fortunate to have him. He is our Unicorn.

Ricky Zazueta

Ricky Zazueta is the Renaissance Ranch House chef, who also doubles down as a Certified Personal Trainer with an affinity to serve delicious healthy meals to the clients. His culinary expertise allows the clients to enjoy savory prepared meals while embarking on their journey of self discovery. Once a week, he holds a Physical Psych class in which he teaches the fundamentals of fitness, and how it correlates to sobriety. Clients get a full body composition scan, along with a plan to accomplish whatever fitness goals they may have. Weekly check-ins allow the clients to celebrate their progress. He is ready to serve.
