Christina Locke

Christina was born and raised in Berwick, Maine. She is currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician program at YCCC and has been working with us as a receptionist and veterinary assistant for over a year. She currently resides with her german shepherd, Brady, her fat cat, two little lab rats, and 15 chickens. Her favorite things to do outside of work are watch scary movies, go thrift shopping, and SLEEP. She describes her favorite thing to do when working as "cuddling with her fuzzy patients!"

Deb Dixon

Miss Deb is a pillar of The Ridge, she lives in our apartment and is always taking care of the grounds, the gardens and nightly cleaning. We're not sure WHAT we would do without her willingness to dig in the dirt, decorate, clean, and change things on a moments notice ;) or play in the yard with the pups! Over the years she has housed and cared for SEVERAL animals that were surrendered to the Ridge and has given her latest addition, Chance, truly a NEW "chance" at life! We appreciate all Miss Deb does every single day. She is always the power and drive "behind-the-scenes" here at The Ridge.

Dr. Kathryn Foertsch

Dr. Kathryn Foertsch grew up and went to vet school in Illinois but has been practicing veterinary medicine in Maine or NH for 30 years. She has been at the Ridge for 8 years and has 3 cats. She has been very busy lately with a new endeavor farming vegetables and raising pasture-fed chicken in Patten, ME with her hubby.

Erin Taylor

Erin was born and raised in central Ohio and always knew she wanted to work with animals. Her husband and her fell in love with Maine while stationed here with the Navy, and have been Sanford residents since 2004. Her husband Nick and 2 teenage boys, Brycen and Corben, keep her on her toes and laughing daily! They also have 2 dogs, Ocho and Ruby, and a hedgehog named Snowball. Erin attended school at NHCTC and received her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology in 2002. She has worked at multiple animal hospitals over the years, and (her words) was "blessed to find my work family at the Ridge Animal Hospital in 2009." She says: "... my days are full of furry scrubs, wet kisses and conversations from my heart. I wouldn't have it any other way, and am so thankful to be a part of your furry family members well being!"

Kelly Matchett

Dr. Matchett received her veterinary degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI, Canada. She was born in New Brunswick and lived there her entire life before moving to New England following graduation. Kelly joined The Ridge family in 2010. Her husband Dr Doug Kohout, their dog Brandy, and their cats Meps Flower and Ize reside locally and spend their "free" time working on their new cabin. When not working on the cabin, they love to hike and boat together!

Molly Gile

Molly Stimpson

Molly lives in nearby Kennebunk with her husband on their small farm. Molly has worked in a variety of animal practices in her years as a licensed veterinary technician including both day and emergency practice and has enjoyed learning new things in each environment. Her passions include working in her flower and vegetable gardens, taking care of her farm animals and pets and quiet time in the barn with her horse and cats.

Stephanie Jacques

Steph has been with us at The Ridge since our inception in 2007. She worked in the emergency veterinary field prior to joining our family here at The Ridge. Stephanie brings many years of experience, a consistent desire for learning, a compassionate ear and a deep love for all of her furry patients every day she comes to work. She loves to bicycle and hike mountains whenever she can. She shares her home with her husband and Max, the tuxedo cat.

Sylvie Epper-Scrivner

Dr. Sylvie Epper-Scrivner has decades of veterinary medical experience, including technician experience. She has held the position of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in several small animal practices over the years in both ME and NH and including both day practice and emergency medicine. Dr. Epper is dedicated to the belief that the veterinarian plays a pivotal role in the way clientele care for their pets and she knows that she can instill high standards by nurturing prideful pet ownership through education and example. Her family includes her husband Eric, daughters Grace Kobeigh and Jordyn and a multitude of 4-legged family members.

Theresa Sirois

Theresa started as a veterinary assistant in 1997 and has worked as a technician, receptionist and office manager. She has experience in day practice, specialty practices and emergency. She currently resides here in Sanford with her husband, 5 children and 2 dogs.
