Abhijeet Bhatkar joined the team five years ago as a support staff and has risen up to master investment execution, solely on the merit of his burning interest to do more. While his previous experience has nothing to do with office work, fate has always put him in a position where he needed to shoulder responsibility whether at home or at business.
Prior to joining the Right Returns he worked for seven years as a store manager at a local shop where the entire business was his responsibility. Abhijeet is very passionate about cooking, so he went on to start his own food cart which, for three years, he managed at night while he worked at day at the office.
Abhijeet brings with him tremendous zest and a touchingly honest smile. He is fascinated with the depth and breadth of financial planning. He plays a key role in helping clients accomplish a seamless execution of investment decisions. He additionally supports the functions of administration as well investment information management.
He is married and lives with his wife, mother and his daughter. His love for cooking makes him a favourite member of his family as well as the office team. He is a person who is eager to learn more about any subject.
Amit Prajapati's primary role is product research. He is also directly involved with assisting the portfolio design and review team.
Amit worked previously with Axis Securities, explaining financial products in response to customer queries. He has successfully completed his CFP CM exams and holds a postgraduate degree in Commerce. He also plans to complete the Post Graduate Diploma in Management at Welingkars, this year.
Amit is a skilled guitarist and often enthralls the entire team with his soft vocals accompanied by his guitar. He is admired for his undaunting focus on work ethic and a perennially positive attitude. Amit is learning Indian Classical music and is also a novice practitioner of Shabda Yoga.
Devang Shah is a Cost Accountant, CFP CM and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
Immediately after completing with his business school, Devang worked in the investment banking industry assisting Mr. M. V. Shah, his father and a veteran Merchant Banker, in structuring complex financial deals. What caught his attention was the glaring disparity in the quality of advice available at an institutional level versus that available for individuals. In the early years when financial planning for individuals was unheard of, the role of a Fiduciary for advising individuals made practical sense to him. This led him to setting up Right Returns, India's first Financial Planning practice, in June 2000.
Devang has worn many hats in the profession including serving on the first Examination and Certification Committee of the CFP body in India as well as serving as Chair of the Global Advisory Council of the FPA, USA. His persistence and unwillingness to be bogged down by ‘current' structures & systems has played an important role in Right Returns' leadership in the area of personal financial advice.
Devang is fond of cycling, meditation and running. He believes there is only one way of seeing things and that is to see the whole of it.
Jyoti is a Graduate in Arts with a major in History and Sociology. To those who know Right Returns from its early years, Jyoti Dias is an inseparable icon of its existence. She worked for a short while in the Shipping industry and a steel manufacturing business before joining Right Returns.
Jyoti has quietly worked at assimilating all the changes that the practice has gone through and continues to go through. Being an integral part of Right Returns, she is able to help troubleshoot practically any issue that impacts the smooth functioning of the team or the effective delivery of client service.
Clients and colleagues, in equal measure, feel very comfortable to reach out to Jyoti for any help whatsoever. Jyoti enjoys her interactions with people and listening to music is her favourite past time.
Jyoti's family includes her parents, who she lives with, and her three brothers living in Middle East, Australia and India.
Jyotsna joined Right Returns right after her graduation in Accounts & Finance from Mumbai University. She continues her studies with her current pursuit of Master of Commerce at the same University.
Her deep interest in Financial Planning coupled with an ability to grasp concepts quickly and put them to practical use has allowed her to master several areas within the span of a year. She presently works as an integral part of the team responsible for the implementation of investment plans and primarily leads in client coordination under the able leadership of Neha Savla.
Jyotsna brings tremendous passion and cares to her work, career, and the relationships that she nurtures with friends, family, and colleagues. In her typical versatile way, she is pursuing Kathak as well as Belly Dancing in her free time.
Krishnakant Vithoba Naik, or Krishna as he is fondly known amongst clients, is a familiar face for all who have visited our office.
Krishnakant's primary role is his hospitality to all guests. He is also forever ready to run errands and complete tasks as if time is endless.
He manages outdoor duties and housekeeping in addition to being a one-man dispatch department. He is the right hand of the entire office.
Krishnakant and his wife, Manisha live at Prabhadevi. Manisha works full-time at a garment factory. Krishna has been contributing to building Right Returns since July 2006. He likes to follow politics as well as cricket and loves doing electric repair work in his free time.
Neha is a multifaceted person with experience in Operations, Customer Service, Client Relations and Mutual Fund Research. She has completed her Graduation in Accounts and Finance from H.R. College of Commerce & Economics and also passed the CFA level 1 exam. She is a qualified French teacher and holds B2 in French Language. Neha started her career in 2011 at Right Returns with the operations team.
Neha Savla works directly with clients, helping them articulate goals, define risks and design portfolios. She frequently takes up projects that require special attention. She serves as a liaison between the clients and the team, nurturing relationships, providing guidance and advice and ensuring all of the client needs are being met. Her soft-spoken nature combined with the diversity of her experience, help her successfully accomplish tasks that might be beyond the reach of many youngsters in the profession.
Neha is zealous about living and eating healthy. She lives in a joint family at Matunga and treasures her time with family and friends.
Pooja Bhosale comes with 5 years of experience in accounting & finance with Shiva Apparels & 1.5 years with Linc pen & plastics Ltd. She also worked as "Para Planner " with Fasttrack Financial Planner. She is a post graduate in Accounts & Finance from Mumbai University. She has successfully completed the CFPCM exams as well as a Diploma in Tax Management from Welingkar Institute of Management. Pooja is presently pursuing a MBA in Operations Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
Pooja brings enthusiasm to the team with her experience in Finance & Operations. Her primary role at Right Returns is assisting Abhijeet Bhatkar in execution & operations. She provides support to the team in compiling information & data needed for operation & finance.
Her perspective on life makes us want to live more thoughtfully. Everybody admires her way of handling difficult situations. Pooja has a special interest in conservation as well as working with the underprivileged. She has volunteered with Helping Hands, an informal group of college students and volunteers. She is known for her thoughtfulness & camaraderie. She values nature and believes in preserving and cherishing the pale blue dot, it's the only place we've ever known as home.
Yuti Jain is a graduate from HR College of Commerce & Economics. Yuti has successfully completed the CFP CM exams. She has also cleared XA and XB Investment Advisory exams of NISM.
Coming up with an experience from Jain And Jain Chartered Accountants as a junior assistant in the on-site audit. Further, she has worked with Equentis Wealth Advisory where she used to present the products directly to retail customers.
Her primary role at Right Returns is assisting in product research and providing support in reviewing client portfolios. She also assists with client communication.
Yuti believes in "Work hard, party harder" and yet is a very devout and spiritual person. She led as a sports coordinator of the Rotaract Club in her college and represented her college for Basketball at the inter-college level competitions. Yuti brings energy & enthusiasm to our culture of challenging the status quo.
