In 1985, our medical research operation began as a division of Endocrine Associates of Dallas (EAD) and focused on Phase II-IV clinical trials. In 1994, the Research Institute of Dallas (RID) was formally established as a separate entity. Research Institute of Dallas operates under the directorship of Stephen L. Aronoff, M.D. who is also in a concierge Endocrinology practice in Richardson, Texas. RID includes partner Richard Sachson, M.D., and Heidi Shea, M.D.. Endocrine Associates of Dallas and Plano is now involved in RID management. RID physicians and dedicated staff are experienced professionals, dedicated to conducting Endocrine and Metabolic Research studies.
