ROGERS & LAPAN - Key Persons

Carol Rogers is responsible for all architecture and the business management of Rogers & LaPan. After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Architecture in 1980, she worked for an award winning architecture firm in Charleston, WV. Moving to Raleigh in 1989, she worked for a large A/E firm, then co-founded Rogers & LaPan. In 1996, she was paralyzed in a construction fall and since then has been able to offer special insight into Accessible and Universal design. She has certificates in Renewable Energy and Green Building from NC State University.

Denis L. LaPan, P. E. is in charge of Engineering for Rogers & LaPan. He is a 1978 graduate of North Carolina State University, with a major in Civil Engineering. He has been practicing engineering since graduation, working for a general contractor and a large A/E firm prior to the founding of Rogers & LaPan in 1992. His memberships include NSPE, PENC, ACI and AISC. He is a licensed professional engineer in both of the Carolinas and is a North Carolina licensed General Contractor.
