Joseph Alai is a recruiting operations subject matter expert. During his tenure at Rockstar Aviation and Rockstar Business Group (2010-2017), Joseph founded several new specialty niches and held the position of National Recruiting Manager, Director of Business Development, Director of Pilot Services, and President/ CEO.
Joseph is a graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting (Cum Laude). While in college, Joseph was a Motivational Speaker and University Representative for incoming students and their parents. He also participated on the Intercollegiate Sailing Race Team, was elected Treasurer of Phi Kappa Tau, and earned his Private Pilot's license. Joseph began his professional career working in Public Accounting followed by Sales, Restaurant Operations, and Retail Management.
In 1999, Joseph joined a large national search firm as a Finance and Accounting Recruiter. In his first full year as a Recruiter, Joseph attained the coveted position as one of the Top Five Recruiters' in the Midwest. In 2003 he relocated to San Antonio Texas where he joined a local recruiting firm. Joseph was an integral member in helping grow the firm across a wide variety of professional career fields while initially specializing in Finance and Accounting. Then in 2005 Joseph began to transition into the Aviation niche. In 2006 Joseph was promoted to a Division Director and became the top Direct-Hire Aviation Recruiter in the nation successfully placing a broad range of professionals coast-to-coast within the aerospace industry. In 2007 Joseph founded Rockstar Aviation, an independent company focused on direct-hire recruiting across a broad range of specialty areas within the aviation and aerospace industry.
Over his tenure with Rockstar Aviation, Joseph has continued to add to both his education and experience. During this time he founded Rockstar Business Group and Rockstar Property Investors, became a Certified Life Coach and joined the ranks of Professional Aviators by earning his Flight Instructor credentials and Air Transport Pilot designation along with several Type Ratings. In 2017 Rockstar Aviation and Rockstar Business Group were acquired by a national recruiting franchise.
