ROCKBURN

Rockburn Institute is a not-for-profit research and education group which was established in 1978 by faculty and staff of The Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health. Early studies concentrated on state databases, case mix, case mix severity measures, measuring the impact of peer review, and the cost of graduate medical education programs... Since 1990, Rockburn has supported integrated health systems' programs in evidence-based medicine, value-based healthcare, and Clinical Integration. In 2009 the Institute initiated environmental studies focusing on storm water management... We also serve Howard County and Maryland through our environmental studies focusing on storm water management, advocacy, education, and support of other non-profits.
