Bill Mitchell

Dr. Mitchell is a native of New York. Having frequently visited Southeast Georgia throughout his childhood and having worked summers there during his college years, Dr. Mitchell made plans at an early age to make the area his home. After extensive training in general surgery and plastic surgery, Dr. Mitchell came to Brunswick, Georgia in 2001 to open his own private practice, which would later be known as Renue Plastic Surgery. Since then Dr. Mitchell has realized his dream of growing the practice to a regional group practice serving Southeast Georgia and offering the full range of plastic surgery services including two licensed and accredited surgery centers. Dr. Mitchell earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Notre Dame. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, after which he completed a general surgery residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta. During his time in Atlanta, Dr. Mitchell served as NASCAR track physician, caring for racers including Jeff Gordon and Rusty Wallace. Following his residency, he completed his plastic surgery fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian - St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, followed by a second fellowship in cosmetic surgery at the Zollman Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Mitchell is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Mitchell has been published in the peer-reviewed journal, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and has presented his work at regional and international meetings. Dr. Mitchell has medical staff privileges at the following hospitals: Southeast Georgia Health System - Brunswick, GA Southeast Georgia Health System - St. Marys, GA Mayo Clinic Health System - Waycross, GA Wayne Memorial Hospital - Jesup, GA In addition to spending time with his wife, Tina Mitchell, MD, who is an OB/GYN at Lily OB/GYN (Lily has offices in Brunswick, St. Simons and Waycross, Georgia), and their four children, Dr. Mitchell enjoys golf, tennis and skiing.

Bradley Easterlin

Dr. Easterlin was born and raised in the South Georgia town of Americus. After attending high school in Americus, he headed to Virginia where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at the University of Virginia. He returned to Georgia for medical school and received his medical degree from the Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon and Savannah, Georgia. During his clinical years in medical school, he was recognized for Outstanding Medical Student in Surgery. He then completed a general surgery residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. Following his residency he completed his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University Hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where he earned the Leo M. Davidoff Teaching Award in Plastic Surgery. After completion of his fellowship in New York, he returned home to Georgia and joined Renue Plastic Surgery to start his private practice. Dr. Easterlin has published articles in both the Plastic and Reconstructive Journal and The Journal of Wounds. Both of his articles describe cutting edge and novel techniques in reconstruction of abdominal wounds and pharyngeal defects following cancer surgery. Steve Barr

Dr. Barr earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Duke University. He received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tuscon. Dr. Barr spent his next five years at the University of South Florida in Tampa in general surgery training with a year of training in hand surgery and microsurgery. Dr. Barr rounded out his surgical training at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where he completed a fellowship in plastic surgery. After his training, Dr. Barr came to Georgia to start his private practice with Renue Plastic Surgery and raise his family. Dr. Barr is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and he holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Barr has been published in the major peer-reviewed journals on plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as hand surgery and has presented his work at national meetings. Dr. Barr is fluent in Spanish.
