Christine H. Young, Administrative Coordinator for Royce Arbour, Inc., has an extensive background in office management in a wide variety of industries. A consummate people person and detail person, Chris's degree is from Monmouth College in New Jersey. She handles Internet research, administrative support, file and document management, and assigned project responsibilities for Royce Arbour staff and client organizations. Chris has held customer service positions with a sporting goods manufacturer and distributor, a municipal government, and an industrial construction contractor. She has had executive support, project administration, in-house sales, billing, credit, supervisory, and association membership responsibilities. Chris worked for many years with the Development Office of the Colorado State Historical Society, where she handled marketing, database management, grant coordination, annual and capital development campaigns, and the Annual Report. In her spare time, she has organized and run charity golf tournaments for the Longmont Coalition for Women in Crisis, Life Care Center of Longmont, Longmont Youth Center and Longmont Senior Center. Not incidentally, she has a very respectable golf handicap. Chris has an extensive background in office management in a wide variety of industries. Diana Royce Smith - Founder, President

Diana currently serves as secretary to the board of directors of the Colorado Enterprise Fund, which provides small business lending and technical assistance to pre-bankable businesses along Colorado's Front Range. She is a former member of the boards of directors of Historic Boulder, Inc., the Emergency Family Assistance Association, Developmental Disabilities Center, and Special Transportation Systems of Boulder County. She has served as an officer and board member of professional associations, including Colorado and New Mexico chapter presidencies for the American Society for Public Administration, the International Personnel Management Association, and the Alliance of Professional Women. Diana Royce Smith Founder and President of Royce Arbour, Inc., has over twenty-five years of management and consulting experience. In 2002, Royce Arbour, Inc. is celebrating its 15th anniversary year. As a consultant, Diana has designed and implemented the full range of management systems and coached dozens of individual managers, executives and senior management teams. She has assisted business, government and private-non-profit organizations in trouble-shooting, problem-solving, project implementation and program evaluation. Diana has headed organizations of over 100 employees in such areas as human resource management, marketing, financial management, management systems development, behavioral research, executive development, and consulting. She has developed and presented training and taught undergraduate and graduate-level college courses. Diana is also an accomplished meeting facilitator and keynote speaker. She has served as a volunteer Chamber of Commerce chair of the Small Business Support Council, the Executive Exchange, and the Brown Bag business training program. Diana founded the successful Lone Eagles Nest program for one-person businesses for the Boulder Chamber and the Advisory Board for Business program for the Broomfield Chamber. She also founded the New Mexico Personnel Management Consortium and is a founding mother of the Alliance for Professional Women. Diana Royce Smith, President and Principal Owner, founded Royce Arbour, Inc. in 1987 in Boulder, Colorado. Royce Arbour, Inc. is a small company by design. Project staffing varies with both full-time employees and associates. In addition to regular staff, Royce Arbour, Inc. has cultivated a broad range of experts who work on project basis, depending on the skills needed. Terry Carleton

Terry has been associated with Royce Arbour, Inc., for over ten years. A former Royce Arbour client representative and client himself, Terry joined Royce Arbour's consulting and training staff in 1996. As a consultant, Terry has worked with the public and private partnership, cable television, publications, records management, and disaster recovery industries, as well as with state and local government agencies. He has prepared client companies for new ventures, increasing sales ten-fold and overseeing internal systems ramp-up to accommodate rapid growth, and devising exit strategies for founders. Terry is adept at integrating professional service provider contributions into on-going executive team operations. Terry's forte is in serving as a right-hand or second-in-command to top management, in which role he specializes in ramping up new projects, day-to-day operations, organizational development, staff development and retention, and training. He has extensive experience in the fields of public health and public-sector management as well as in substance abuse prevention Terry has previously been employed by TCSI, Public Records Unlimited, the Boulder, Colorado County Health Department, the United Nations High Commission on Refugees, the American National Red Cross, the Maricopa County, Arizona, Health Department, and Cook County, Illinois. He has taught substance abuse treatment coursework at the Colorado State University School of Social Work. Terry earned a masters degree in social work in the public administration track from Arizona State University in Tempe and his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Illinois in Urbana. Terry also studied Guided Group Interaction with Barry Levine at the University of Chicago.
