The mission of Red River Delta Law Enforcement Planning Council, Inc. is to establish a forum for persons most familiar with the problems of local law enforcement to study, address, and adopt methods, procedures and programs that will result in more efficient and effective criminal justice operations in the Central Louisiana area... In 1968, Congress enacted the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act that channeled federal monies to local and state law enforcement agencies.
