SAMOS CONFERENCE FOUNDATION

SAMOS is a unique con fer ence. It deals with em bed ded sys tems (sort of) but that is not what makes it dif fer ent. It brings to gether every year re searchers from both acad e mia and in dus try on the quiet and in spir ing north ern moun tain side of the Mediter ranean is land of Samos, which in it self is dif fer ent. But more im por tantly, it re ally fos ters col lab o ra tion rather than com pe ti tion. For mal and in ten sive tech ni cal ses sions are only held in the morn ings. A lively panel or dis tin guished keynote speaker ends the for mal part of the day, and leads nicely into the af ter noons and evenings - re served for in for mal dis cus sions, good food, and the invit ing Aegean Sea. The con fer ence pa pers will be pub lished by Springer's Lec ture Notes in Com puter Sci ence - LNCS and will be in cluded in the DBLP Data base, among other data bases.
