Bryce Sady

Bryce Sady, Senior Consultant --- Mr. Sady ran marketing and developed the 150,000+ physician panel audience of QuantiaMD and professional diabetes community on QuantiaMD, which serves the marketing needs of many global diabetes firms. Mr. Sady then went on to direct the development and implementation of a dozen mobile phone applications for diabetes patient education with leading diabetes educators and institutions. He has a patent pending on patient health information tracking, and has created numerous proprietary algorithms for the processing of diabetes data. He has been quoted in Medical Economics on mHealth applications, and won a Web Health award for work with diabetes educator Hope Warshaw. Mr. Sady has degrees from Harvard University and the University of Chicago.

Heather Kiefer

Heather Kiefer, PhD, Senior Consultant --- Before joining SCP, Dr. Kiefer worked at IntelligentMDx, Inc., where she had hands-on experience developing molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases. She later moved into marketing, providing market analysis, competitive intelligence, technical writing, presentations and point of contact for customers/collaborators. There she held Senior Scientist, Manager of Product Development, and Marketing Manager positions. Prior she held a microbiology research position at Nestle, R&D, CT. She has published in the fields of HIV and immunology and received her Ph.D. in microbiology from Boston University School of Medicine, Boston, MA.

John Andrew Johnson

John Andrew Johnson, MBA --- Mr. Johnson, a Senior Consultant at SCP and principal at Andover Biomed. Previously he held a marketing leadership positions at Opko Health, was Chief Marketing Officer, and Director of Business Development and Special Projects at Osmetech Molecular Diagnostics, Senior Consultant with Boston Biomedical Consultants, and has held senior management positions with ThermoFisher, Dade Behring (Siemens), bioMerieux, and Wako Diagnostics. Prior he was the microchemistry point-of-care lab manager at Massachusetts General Hospital. He received his MBA from Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

Kenji Kunai

Kenji Kunai, PhD, Senior Consultant & Head of the SCP Japan Liaison Office --- Prior to founding Kunai Research Office KRO and becoming the Japanese affiliate of SCP, Dr. Kunai held strategic planning positions at Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation where as General Manager he planned global new businesses for Hitachi Medical Systems. He was an IFCC Corporate Member representing Hitachi High-Technologies. Before Hitachi, he was with A&T Corporation where he managed the R&D group for IVD systems, reagents and devices, corporate business & sales group, overseas business group, and QA & CSR Group as a Director. He was also designated as a Director of JINSUNG A&T Corporation which was established as a joint enterprise of the Korean company Jinsung Meditech Inc and A&T Corporation. Earlier in his career he was a Chief Research Chemist at Tokuyama Corporation, where he developed anti-cancer pharmaceuticals. He received his Ph.D. in biochemistry from The University of Tokyo, and holds 20 patents in Japan, USA and Europe.

Manfred Scholz - Founder, President

Manfred Scholz, PhD, MBA, Founder, President and Principal Consultant --- Dr. Scholz has led SCP since its founding in 2005. He served in several executive and consulting positions at Pillar Biosciences, Inc. as well as CEO at Prolias LLC, President/COO at Stem Cell Preservation Technologies, VP Bus Dev at IQuum (now Roche), Sr Dir Bus Dev at Large Scale Biology Corporation, Sr Consultant at Boston Biomedical Consultants, and held various system development and global marketing positions at Dade Behring (now Siemens). Early in his career, he received fellowships from Max-Planck-Society and Harvard University with appointments at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Harvard-affiliated Center for Blood Research and Max Planck Institute for Biophysics. He researched and published in the fields of oncology, infectious diseases and in vivo imaging technologies. He received his Ph.D. in physics from Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University, Frankfurt, Germany and his M.B.A. from Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts.
