Aileen Smith

Aileen has been working in the telecoms industry for the past 13 years in the specification & development of telecoms software solutions with companies such as Motorola and Alcatel. In recent years Aileen has been heavily involved in specifying NGOSS as the program manager for the NGOSS program while providing consultancy to a number of operators who are beginning the implementation of NGOSS based solutions. In particular Aileen has been involved in leading procurement specification activities and initial vendors and integration selection processes.

Greg Fidler

Greg spent 25 years with Telstra Corporation Ltd, his final post being that of Chief Architect. For the past year he has been consulting in the area of enterprise architecture management and processes. Greg has been a board director with the TeleManagement Forum since 2001 and at present is a TMF technical board advisor. Greg has been instrumental in specifying a number of the core areas of NGOSS and most recently has led the activity to define the comprehensive Strategy, Infrastructure and Product (SIP) process decompositions of the eTOM.

Ken Dilbeck

Ken Dilbeck is one of the leading voices in the telecoms industry in the development of next generation OSS solutions. Ken has spent 25 years working for a number of the leading telcoms solutions providers, specifically in the architecture and development of complex distributed computing solutions. Most recently Ken has worked with NEC in Dallas USA. Prior to that he was a chief architect with one of the leading US Service Providers. Ken is the founding member and one of the Chief Architects of the OSS thru Java initiative. OSS thru Java is the first comprehensive technology specific implementation of NGOSS. Through this Ken has gained extensive experience in how to implement NGOSS using J2EE and Web Services technologies.

Martin J. Creaner

Martin Creaner has been working and advising in the Communications Industry for 20 years and is presently Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of the Telemanagement Forum. Prior to joining the TeleManagement Forum, Martin held a number of executive positions with BT, the major UK based European Communications Service Provider, and with Motorola, the global Wireless Networks Equipment. Martin is also the Non-Executive Chairman of Selatra Ltd., which is a java games developer/publisher for the mobile marketplace.

Mike Kelly

Mike has spent the last 30 years working in the Telecoms industry with major network equipment vendors including Nortel Networks and STC. Mike has also spent a period of his career as an advisor to the British Government cabinet office on information technology topics. Mike's background is in systems/software architecture and design with extensive experience in Operations Systems specification and development. For the last three years Mike has been consulting in the areas of Business Process Modelling for telecommunications, focused on the TeleManagement Forum's Enhanced Telecom Operations Map (eTOM). Mike has advised a number of telecoms operators in their adoption of the eTOM and has carried out numerous training and consultancy engagements surrounding the eTOM.

Tony Richardson

Tony spent over 30 years working in the Telecommunications industry with British Telecom in a number of senior positions. Tony's main area of expertise has surrounded architecting distributed computing solutions for OSS/BSS environments. In recent years he has been providing consultancy advice on the development of Operational Support Systems for operators and vendors in the telecommunications industry. Tony has also been an advisor/consultant to the European Community Information Software & Technology projects and has also contributed to a number of these projects. Tony has been involved with the definition and specification of the NGOSS Architecture for the past five years. In particular he has been responsible for developing the early NGOSS architectural approach and now manages the building of business and technical relationships with other Industry Groups to further NGOSS deveopment and industry uptake. Tony has a deep understanding of cross industry distributed computing and related standards and how to apply these in the context of NGOSS to the development of OSS/BSS solutions.
