James C. Staton

Born and raised in Middletown, Ohio, Mr. Staton is a graduate of Lemon Monroe High School where he lettered in various sports and excelled academically. Upon graduation, Mr. Staton attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he was placed on the dean and president's list. He also held leadership positions in various teams and organizations including the pre-law society, graduating with a degree in both political science and philosophy. Mr. Staton enrolled in the University of Dayton School of Law where he served on the Constitutional Law Moot Court team and worked with the University of Dayton Law Clinic representing indigent clients while also interning with the Butler County Prosecutor's Office, and working several area jobs. Upon graduation, Mr. Staton took and immediately passed both the Ohio and Federal bar exams and began his law practice representing individuals in their criminal, civil, and domestic relations issues. In 2000, Mr. Staton merged his practice with Mark Fisher and his current firm was begun. Mr. Staton has been recognized for outstanding service by the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court and is listed in "WHO'S WHO OF AMERICAN LAWYERS", as well as "WHO'S WHO AMONG EXECUTIVES AND PROFESSIONALS." Mr. Staton is a long-time volunteer with the Volunteer Lawyers Program and is a member of the Ohio Bar Association, Greene County Bar Association, Warren County Bar Association, Miami County Bar Association, Clark County Bar Association, and Dayton Bar Association. Outside of work, James is a family man, married with two children, two dogs, and even a few cats. He is a player on the four-time championship softball team of Staton, Fisher & Conboy "SHARKS", and a coach for his local little league baseball and pee wee football teams. Many attorneys often see the glass as half-empty. My experience tells me that there are two sides to every story. Ever since I started my firm in 2000, I've helped countless people change their lives by guiding them through the legal process and helping them move forward. That will be my goal with your case.

Mark A. Fisher

The youngest of eleven children, born and reared in Huber Heights, Ohio, Mr. Fisher is a 1988 graduate of Wayne High School. Upon graduation, Mr. Fisher attended Wright State University, where he was placed on the dean's list and graduated with honors with a degree in Accounting and Finance in 1993. Mr. Fisher enrolled in the University of Dayton School of law where he served in the law clinic representing indigent clients while also interning with the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office. I found a passion for helping others in my early years of practicing law in the 90's. In 2000, I merged my practice with my old softball teammate and close friend. My goal is to fight for your needs with passion, extensive knowledge, and strategic skills - all while treating you like family.

PJ Conboy

Patrick J. (P J.) Conboy II was born in Sumter, South Carolina and raised in Syracuse, New York. Mr. Conboy is a graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School where he lettered in numerous sports and was a member of the school's State Champion, nationally ranked cross country team. After graduating from high school, Mr. Conboy attended Onondaga Community College, where he was on the Dean's list all four semesters and earned an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Thereafter, Mr. Conboy attended the State University of New York at Buffalo and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Mr. Conboy enrolled at the University of Dayton School of Law where he completed classes in various legal fields. During Law School, Mr. Conboy clerked for a Common Pleas Judge and also worked as a legal assistant. After graduating from Law School in 1998, Mr. Conboy took and passed both the Ohio and Federal Bar exam, and started his own practice. Mr. Conboy's practice focused on all types of cases in various Courts throughout the State of Ohio. In 2004, Mr. Conboy joined a firm with Mark Fisher and James Staton and their current partnership was formed. Mr. Conboy was a football agent licensed by the NFL and CFL as well as the State of Ohio and Kentucky for three years. I graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law and passed both the Ohio State and Federal Bar in 1998. Six years later, I joined the firm of Fisher & Staton to round off our trio, establish a firm with some of the most experienced and determined attorneys of Dayton, OH and the surrounding area.
