Dr. Georg Kolb studied Technological Physics at the Technical University Munich and graduated in 1990.
He attained a Ph.D. in the fields of Near-Field Scanning Optical Microscopy and Semiconductor Electronics (TU Munich and Siemens AG). He has had several years experience in industry in senior management positions (1995 to 1999 Siemens AG, 1999 to 2002 Infineon Technologies AG). Dr. Georg Kolb joined Schwan Schorer & Partner in 2003 and became a partner in 2009.

Ivo Schwan studied Applied Physics and specialized in Technical Physics at The Munich University of Applied Science (FH Munich), where he graduated in 1992. Ivo Schwan attained practical experience while working at Siemens AG in Munich and Medtronic Inc. in Minneapolis, USA. In 1992 he joined Schwan Schorer & Partner and after becoming registered as a European Patent Attorney he became a partner in 1998. In 2002 he was admitted as a German Patent and Trademark Attorney.
