Daniel M. Campbell

Daniel M. Campbell joined Scarfone & Geen, P.C. in January 2021 as a law clerk. In December of 2021, Mr. Campbell started in his role as an attorney after he was admitted to practice in Michigan. Mr. Campbell's practice focuses on No-Fault litigation, including defense of first-party, first-party provider, and third-party claims. Mr. Campbell graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, attending on a full-tuition Honor's Scholarship and graduating Magna Cum Laude. While at Cooley, he earned Certificates of Merit in Constitutional Law II, Evidence, and Drafting. While at Cooley, Mr. Campbell interned in the 7 th Circuit Court for Genesee County. Later, he went on to extern for the Genesee County Prosecutor's Office, practicing under MCR 8.120 in the Office's Warrant and Pre-Trial Divisions for the 67 th District Court for Genesee County and the City of Flint. Outside of the classroom, Mr. Campbell was an active member of Cooley's student body. He worked as a Senior Associate Editor for the WMU-Cooley Law Review. Mr. Campbell had the privilege of competing on Cooley's Inaugural Bankruptcy Moot Court Team, which earned a top twenty-five finish at the 28 th Annual Duberstein National Moot Court Competition in New York City. Mr. Campbell also served as a Senator for the Student Bar Association, and he was a Mentor to 1L students.

David J. Lanctot

From 1970 to 2000, David Lanctot was employed by AAA Michigan in its Legal Department. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Lanctot managed Lanctot, McCutcheon, Schoolmaster, Taylor and Hom. Mr. Lanctot supervised over 60 attorneys and 80 support staff. During that time, AAA's Legal department handled 4,000 litigation files per year in auto no-fault and homeowner's insurance. His responsibilities included a budget of $30 million per year and acting as the Chief Liaison between the Legal Department and the Claim Department. From 1970 to 1994, Mr. Lanctot did trial work, rising through the ranks from staff attorney to senior attorney to executive attorney and, finally, to managing attorney. He handled personal injury and insurance litigation with over 100 trials in Federal and State Courts. Mr. Lanctot specialized in handling catastrophic no-fault litigation (brain and spinal cord injuries)from 1983 to 1994. In 1984 Mr. Lanctot established the AAA Claim/Legal Catastrophic Loss Unit to coordinate the handling of all of AAA's catastrophic no-fault claims both before and after litigation. He has also handled appeals in the Michigan Courts of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court, the 6 th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. From 2001 to 2013, Mr. Lanctot served Of Counsel to Scarfone and Geen, P.C. In 2013, Mr. Lanctot joined the firm as an attorney. Since joining the firm, he has focused his practice on first and third-party no fault litigation. In addition, Mr. Lanctot has focused his practice on the recent explosion of provider litigation in the no-fault arena.

Dianna Lynn Ramos Caywood

Dianna Ramos Caywood joined Scarfone & Geen, P.C. in March 2013. Since joining the firm, she has focused her practice on catastrophic and other serious injuries in the areas of automobile negligence, first-party no-fault insurance, arson and fraudulent claim defense. Ms. Caywood obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University in 1993. Ms. Caywood went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1996. John C.W. Hohmeier

John Hohmeier joined Scarfone & Geen, P.C. in 2012. Since joining the firm, Mr. Hohmeier has focused his practice on first- and third-party No Fault litigation. He was both Trial and Appellate Counsel in Dawoud v State Farm Mut Auto Ins, where the Court of Appeals issued a published opinion further clarifying the derivative nature of medical provider's rights in the No Fault arena. Mr. Hohmeier's current focus remains on the recent explosion of medical provider litigation against insurance carriers. Mr. Hohmeier is also a recipient of the Golden Gavel Award given out by the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel in recognition of significant achievement within his area of practice, the community, and the advancement of young attorneys. Mr. Hohmeier obtained his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Mr. Hohmeier's commentary on the interaction of emotion and brain chemistry with a person's ability to recall veridical memories was published in the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. Madison Skinner

Madison Skinner joined Scarfone & Geen, P.C. in March 2021. Since joining the firm, Ms. Skinner has focused her practice in the areas of first- and third-party no-fault litigation. Ms. Skinner graduated from Michigan State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from Western Michigan University-Cooley Law School in January 2020. During law school, Ms. Skinner completed a judicial internship in the 7 th Circuit Court for Genesee County. In addition, Ms. Skinner also completed an externship focused on no-fault litigation and Criminal Defense Law. Following law school, Ms. Skinner began practicing primarily in first- and third-party no-fault litigation, as well as premises liability. Ms. Skinner is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan. Ms. Skinner is also a member of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel.

Michael Bashir

Michael graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. Robert J. Morris

Robert J. Morris graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory School in Pontiac in 2002. In 2006, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University. Mr. Morris acquired his Resident Producer License in 2008 and worked as a property and casualty agent with Morris Insurance Group. In 2011, he received his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law. Mr. Morris began his legal career as an intern for the Honorable Linda Davis of the 41-B District Court. He subsequently completed a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Peter J. Maceroni of the Macomb County Circuit Court. Given Mr. Morris' insurance background, he has focused his legal practice in insurance defense litigation, insurance coverage disputes, contract litigation and business law. Mr. Morris is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Macomb County Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the Michigan Trial Defense Counsel.

Sean Zayas

Sean Zayas joined Scarfone & Geen, P.C. in April 2017. Since joining the firm, he has focused his practice on first and third party no-fault litigation. Since 1997, Mr. Zayas has litigated a wide range of civil cases, most of them involving personal injuries, with a particular emphasis on no-fault claims. He has represented insurance carriers in no-fault matters since 2012. In addition to his trial experience, Mr. Zayas has written appellate briefs and argued successfully in both the Michigan Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Michigan, and is also admitted to practice in both the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Stephen C. Madej

Stephen C. Madej joined Scarfone & Geen, P.C. in March 2015. Since joining the firm, Mr. Madej has focused his practice in the areas of first and third party no-fault litigation. Mr. Madej graduated from the University of Michigan Dearborn with a Bachelors of Business in 2011. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2014, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Throughout law school, he externed for the Civil Rights and Defensive Litigation Units of the United States Attorney's Office. In addition, Mr. Madej interned at the Genesee County Circuit Court, served as a research assistant, and competed in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
