In 2008, Sean joined Secker Ross & Perry LLP as a partner. Sean holds a BA (Honours) Degree in Economics from Queen's University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. He has over 20 years of experience in public accounting with part of his career spent at national public accounting firms.
Sean has a diverse background which includes corporate and partnership taxation, individual tax planning, estate planning, and SR&ED tax credits. He works with all types of businesses including professionals, manufacturers, distributors, and real estate organizations.
In 2009, Stephen joined Secker Ross & Perry LLP as a partner. Stephen has over 30 years of experience in public practice with both national and regional firms as an advisor to private companies. He has worked with clients in a range of industries during his career. He holds a Bachelor of Business, a Master of Accountancy and is a Chartered Professional Accountant in both Canada and Australia.
Stephen provides accounting, tax, and business advisory services exclusively to business owners and professionals.
He has had a long involvement in Kingston's arts, cultural and faith communities, having served with the Kingston Symphony, Cantabile Choirs of Kingston and other arts and church music groups. He is currently doing an encore term as Treasurer for Cantabile.
Tyler joined Secker Ross & Perry LLP as a partner in 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Administration and Commercial Studies) from the University of Western Ontario together with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor and is also a Licensed Public Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
Tyler began his career in public accounting in 1994 and has previously worked in both national accounting firm and local accounting firm environments. He has worked his entire career with small and medium-sized, privately held enterprises and not-for-profit organizations, providing assurance, tax and business advisory services.
