We, that is my two Rhodesian Ridgeback males Simba ("Zuritamu Shakari Simba") and Ulanyo ("CH Glenaffric Ulanyo of Zuritamu") and me, Jana Mach. We live in a rural place at the edge of the Ruhr Metropolitan area, surrounded by green fields and woods in the Ennepe Valley... After a long research for a dog breed that would match my expectations, I accidentially met a Rhodesian Ridgeback male at the European Winner Show 2001 in Dortmund/D. He obviously wasn´t the least impressed with the crowded and noisy atmosphere in the exhibition halls and followed his master in a very laid-back and unimpressed manner. I got hooked by the character and appearance of this breed and before long I intensively got involved in Ridgebacks and as a consequence - soon knew where I would like to purchase my first Ridgeback: at Zuritamu Kennels.
