Shinault Baker & Company was founded by Larry G. Baker and Michael D. Shinault. Mr. Baker and Mr. Shinault studied together at the California State University of Bakersfield, where they graduated in 1977 with degrees in Business and Public Administration. After each obtaining nearly 10 years of post-graduate experience at other accounting firms, they decided to join their practices and open Shinault Baker & Company in September 1986. Together, they were senior managing partners of the firm until Mr. Shinault's passing in June 2021... We are dedicated to serving the accounting needs of individuals and businesses in Bakersfield and the surrounding areas since 1986... Shinault Baker Company was founded by its current managing partners, Michael D. Shinault and Larry G. Baker in September of 1986.
