Using this idea, Sheila built, owned and operated The Green Room, The Empire Room(s), Ruby's Roadhouse, Sapphire Hotel & The Maiden... Twenty one years of building these neighborhood bars & restaurants were challenging and exciting and fulfilling. But, as her beautiful daughter, Addie began to grow up, she needed more flexibility and also wanted to really be of service to others. She bought a run down boarding house in the Buckman Neighborhood of Inner Southeast and built the 16th Ave Walkups. After 7 years of running this short term housing thru Airbnb for interns and visiting scholars and creatives, she is dedicating the next career phase to helping other people make THEIR dreams come true.
