Kristen M. Taylor

Kristen grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business with a degree in Finance and Human Resources. She still lends her time to the university mentoring women through the CU Professional Mentoring Program. In addition, Kristen teaches Financial Finesse for Women and co-teaches The Divorce Course through the Chester County Adult Night School. Kristen is the author of the column, Dollars and Sense, which hopes to educate and simplify some of the financial tools and terms used in the industry. Kristen holds several securities licenses and is licensed in Life, Disability, Health and Annuities in the state of Pennsylvania. Kristen also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™certification as well as the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designation. Away from the office, Kristen is the mother of two active teenagers. Most often she can be found at her children's gymnastics meets, soccer games, and tennis matches. In her free time she enjoys a good book and a long run.

Susan Arnette is the founder of SLA Financial, a 30 year old financial planning firm with an emphasis on independent financial services for women. Susan started the business because it was her desire to offer a place where women can come to learn and to grow to the point where they are confident in their financial life thus empowering them to move forward. Susan holds several securities licenses and is licensed in Life Disability and Health in the state of Pennsylvania. Susan also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant Designation (ChFC®). Susan has served as the President and Treasurer of the Women's Referral Network of Chester County from 1991-1996. She received their Woman of the Year Award in 1993. In 1994 she received the Mary Mateer Harris Award from the West Chester Civic Association and The Business & Professional Women's Club of West Chester. Susan was honored by Pennsylvania's Governor and State Commerce Department in 1998 with Pennsylvania's 50 Best Women in Business Award. She is consistently recognized as one of Philadelphia Magazine's Top Scoring Wealth Managers. Susan has also served her community as a participant of the YWCA of Chester County Advisory Board and contributor to the Chester County Women's Commission. She has also been a long time contributor of services to the Women's Resource Center in Wayne, PA. In addition, Susan created 2 financial classes geared towards women that are run through the Chester County Adult Night School. Susan enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid sailor.
