Somaliland Petro Association, SPA. was founded in 2009 in Norway and consists of a group of academics from the Somaliland country. This gives us a unique opportunity to learn from the Norwegian oil model. Norway is one of the few countries in the world that has managed to sell their oil resources to social welfare and economic development.
