Anna has extensive executive support and project management experience from her work at non-profits, startups, and tech companies in the Bay Area since 2007. Prior to joining the Foundation, Anna worked as Executive Assistant to the President at Climate Leadership Initiative and before that, held multiple roles supporting Senior leaders at Stanford School of Medicine. Before moving to the Bay Area, Anna worked as an equity trader in Taiwan. Bryan Polster

Bryan Polster is Past Chairman of the Board of Partners of Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP, where he served as Chairman from 2014 to 2020 and previously served as its Managing Partner from 1995 to 2014. Under Bryan's leadership the firm experienced exceptional growth and gained its exceptional reputation both locally and internationally. Currently, Bryan serves on several Boards of Directors, including Avidbank, as Lead Independent Director, CAMICO Mutual Insurance Company and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit High School. He has also played a key role as Chairman of the Finance and Investment Committees at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. Camille Llanes-Fontanilla

Camille Llanes-Fontanilla is the Vice President of Silicon Valley Programs, responsible for the overarching vision and strategy for local giving across the Silicon Valley region. By developing trusted relationships with local nonprofits and uniting key stakeholders toward collective, community-centered action, the team will expand economic mobility for low-income individuals in the region. Previously, Camille served as the Executive Director of SOMOS Mayfair, working alongside community members to spur resident-led solutions in education, economic justice, and community development. During her tenure, Camille led sizable organizational growth; built deep community partnerships; and brought over $30M of investments into east San Jose. Camille continues to serve on the Board of Trustees for The Health Trust and SPUR San Jose and is a founding member of the Si Se Puede Collective. Camille was born and raised in east San Jose and continues to raise two young children there with her husband, Ryan. She has a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and a master's degree in Public Administration from San Jose State University.

Caretha Coleman

Getting her start at Hewlett Packard, Caretha has spent 40 years in the technology industry working with start-ups and early stage ventures in the areas of organizational strategy development; and executive coaching and effectiveness. She served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Software Publishing Corporation, where her leadership was instrumental in pioneering one of the first successful desktop computer software businesses. At Interval Research, Caretha served as CAO with responsibilities for Finance, HR, and Facilities. Ms. Coleman is former Chairman of the board for Dignity Health (now CommonSpirit). She is a member of the board of The RealReal and is chairman of their Diversity, Inclusion, and Compensation committee. She is an advisor to Illuminate, an early stage VC firm focused on enterprise, cloud and mobile computing, as well as to Launch with GS, and was a founding member of The Angels Forum. Her philanthropic interests centers on work focused with underrepresented populations. Caretha is co founder of the Black Directors Health Equity Agenda and member of the Board. She chairs the board of The Leverage Network (TLN), is a board member of Accion Opportunity Fund, KIPP Schools in Northern California, and member of the national board of Facing History and Ourselves. In addition, she serves on the advisory boards of the Black Economic Alliance and Culture Shift; and is a Program Advisor to the Black Corporate Readiness Program at Santa Clara University. An advocate for women and minorities in business, Caretha demonstrates her commitment to mentoring young professionals and entrepreneurs across the country. She has been recognized as one of the Bay Area's most Influential Women by the San Francisco Business Times; and Outstanding Director by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, and was named a Visionary Leader by the SF Chronicle for her work in diversity. An American Leadership Forum Fellow, Caretha is a recipient of the YMCA's Red Triangle award, recognizing the highest level of volunteer. She has been recognized with the PACT Leadership award, Black Enterprise Trailblazer award; and as a Visionary Leader in the Bay Area for her work towards creating a more diverse community inside and outside of the workplace.

Carol Larson

Carol Larson is Trustee Emerita and former President and CEO of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. She retired from that position at the end of 2019, after three decades at the Foundation, serving as its president for 2004 through 2019. Prior to joining the Foundation in 1989, Carol was a partner in a Los Angeles, California law firm specializing in civil litigation. She also worked in the nonprofit sector on behalf of persons with developmental disabilities. In addition to serving on the Sobrato board, Carol currently is a visiting scholar at the Stanford Center on Longevity. She has served on numerous boards in the past, including ClimateWorks Foundation, Council on Foundations (chair), American Leadership Forum - Silicon Valley, Northern California Grantmakers, and Grantmakers for Children, Youth and Families. Carol received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her law degree from Yale Law School. Carol is the mother of two grown daughters.

Chad Froman

Chad Froman joined The Sobrato Organization in 2017. As Senior Vice President, he oversees Asset Management for the firm's commercial and residential portfolios. His responsibilities include the formation, implementation, and execution of asset-level strategies that enhance value through valuation creation along with risk mitigation. Prior to TSO, Chad was Director of Asset Management at MWest Properties. He began his career in investment banking with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and UBS Warburg. Chase Lyman

As Vice President in charge of our commercial portfolio, Chase Lyman serves as the chief liaison between our tenants and the brokerage community. He negotiates all contractual agreements between The Sobrato Organization and its tenants, and manages the listing and marketing of all our commercial properties. Chase is also responsible for the renovation and rehabilitation of our company's commercial buildings, acquisition and disposition of commercial property, participating in the planning and execution of development projects, and all business development and tenant/broker relations. For seven years prior to joining Sobrato, Chase was a member of Newmark Knight Frank's Palo Alto office, and represented several major landlords and tenants in the area. Raised in Los Altos, Chase has a strong knowledge of the Peninsula market. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in American Studies with an emphasis in Urban Land Development from the University of California, Berkeley.

Christy Richardson serves as Chief Investment Officer of The Sobrato Organization, where she oversees Sobrato Capital, manages Sobrato Philanthropies' investment portfolio, leads impact investment activities, and advises on TSO's overall asset allocation. Prior to joining TSO, Christy spent the prior 15 years as the Director of Private Investments for the William & Flora Hewlett Foundation, where she had point responsibility for a third of the $10 billion endowment spanning venture capital, buyout, and infrastructure strategies globally. Prior to Hewlett, Christy was a Partner in the private equity group at Thomas Weisel Partners, co-managing the private equity fund-of-funds and secondary investing practices. Christy began her career in investment banking at Alex. Brown & Sons and later at Mercury Capital Management, a Silicon Valley family investment office. Ms. Richardson received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College. She also serves as Treasurer and Board Member of the Humane Society of Silicon Valley.

Clint Reilly - Founder

Clint Reilly is the founder and owner of a diversified family of commercial real estate, media and hospitality businesses headquartered in downtown San Francisco's landmark Merchants Exchange building. His wholly-owned portfolio includes five office buildings in the Financial District and Jackson Square, as well as the historic Julia Morgan Ballroom and Merchants Exchange Club, which host more than 250 signature events annually. The company also owns and operates the 165-year-old San Francisco Examiner - once the flagship newspaper of the Hearst Corporation - and the 42-year-old Nob Hill Gazette, a San Francisco media institution focused on the civic, social and philanthropic activities of notable Bay Area residents. His companies reflect his commitment to the community, contributing significantly to a wide range of nonprofit organizations through direct giving, partnerships and media exposure. To this end, Clint was named by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the Bay Area's "Most Admired CEOs" in 2018. Clint began his career not in real estate, but in politics. He founded Clinton Reilly Campaigns in the 1970s and helped pioneer a new profession of campaign and political consulting in California. At its height, Clinton Reilly Campaigns was the largest political consulting firm outside of Washington D.C. Over the course of his career, he helped elect a series of leaders who would go on to become champions for families, the environment and the poor, including local luminaries such as Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein. In addition to his wide-ranging charitable contributions via the Reilly Family Foundation, Clint is most proud of his work to extend high-quality educational opportunities to disadvantaged Bay Area youth. Clint is the founder and Board Chair of Bay Scholars, a non-profit which provides scholarships and support services to nearly 500 inner-city youth to attend college-prep Catholic high schools throughout the Bay Area. Clint, a current member of the board of directors for the Bay Area Council, also sits on the advisory board of UC Berkeley's Robert T. Matsui Center for Politics & Public Service, as well as the University of San Francisco President's advisory board. A strong supporter of the arts, Clint also serves on the Accessions and Collections committees for the SFMOMA, and on the board of the Manetti Shrem Museum of Art at UC Davis. He served on the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities of San Francisco from 1997-2006, including as President of the Board-the first layperson to hold the post-from 2002-2006. Clint also served as president of the board of directors of the Oakland Military Institute, a successful charter school in northwest Oakland. Among his other pursuits, Clint remains civically and politically active, serving as co-chair of Governor Gavin Newsom's gubernatorial campaign in 2018 and providing fundraising support to a wide range of candidates. In 2019, his multi-year effort to establish a sorely needed community benefit district in San Francisco's Financial District and Jackson Square came to fruition with the establishment of the Downtown CBD following an overwhelming vote of downtown property owners. Clint lives in San Francisco's Seacliff neighborhood with his wife, Janet, a UC Regent, former board member of the Presidio Trust, and founder of Clinic by the Bay, a free, volunteer-powered health clinic for the working uninsured in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties.

D. Valentine joined The Sobrato Organization in 2019. As Chief Financial Officer, he oversees the accounting, financial planning and analysis, and tax and treasury functions for the organization. Prior to TSO, D was the CFO of BRIDGE Housing Corporation for 15 years, growing and scaling the finance and administrative functions significantly during that time. He has held various financial positions in his six years working for the 3Com Corporation, including two years based in Hong Kong. He began his career in sales and trading for Shearson Lehman Brothers and the Louis Dreyfus Corporation. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Indiana University. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Larkin Street Youth Services in San Francisco where he is on the Executive Committee and Chairs the Finance Committee.

Daniela Ogden - CCO

As Director of Communications, Daniela works to foster a cohesive voice and promote inclusive dialogue within and outside The Sobrato Organization (TSO) to drive progress on TSO 3.0 and other priorities across the three enterprise units and strengthen the TSO's leadership and reputation. Daniela works with internal stakeholders including the Sobrato family, leadership, and business units across the enterprise; and external stakeholders including key partners, the media, peers, and policymakers to advance TSO's goals and drive results across the enterprise. She is responsible for crafting powerful, memorable messages, protecting and extending TSO's reputation and interests, and ensuring that business goals are broadly supported by a robust communication vision. Daniela brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in real estate and social impact communications. Prior to joining TSO, she consulted for Bay Area nonprofits, helping them reach their fundraising and communications goals. Before this role, Daniela served as the Vice President of Communications, Advocacy and Fund Development for Eden Housing, a nonprofit affordable housing developer, owner, and operator based in Hayward. While there, she rebranded the 50-year-old organization, led community engagement campaigns supporting housing, and grew the resident services program by increasing philanthropic giving. Additionally, Daniela held roles in communications and fundraising at the California Association of Food Banks, the National Audubon Society, and the Edgewood Center for Children and Families. She completed the Silicon Valley Housing Policy Leadership Academy program and has a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Colorado at Boulder where she studied Creative Writing and Fine Art.

In her current role, she manages many of the foundation's cross organizational programming and oversees the English Learner Program as well as the Family Initiatives and New Opportunities work. Previously, she served as an advisor to the Asian American and Pacific Islander Civic Engagement Fund and most recently was a political appointee in the Obama Administration as the Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan and her B.A. from Wayne State University. Doua and her family were resettled in Detroit and are among the many thousands of Hmong refugees who were resettled in the United States after supporting and fighting alongside the U.S. during the Vietnam War.

Hana Ma (she/her) serves as Program Officer for the Postsecondary Success program, part of the Foundation's overarching Economic Mobility strategy. In this role, she collaborates with partners to support low-income students in Silicon Valley to attend and persist through college, as well as connect them to first good jobs. Previously, Hana led The Education Trust - West's early learning portfolio and contributed to research and analysis of policies and practices in support of educator diversity and educational equity for California's students. She also supported grantmaking in education policy and advocacy at the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation and led an afterschool employment program for immigrant youth in San Francisco. Outside of education, Hana has represented children seeking asylum in immigration court and served as a re-entry social worker for adults on parole. Hana grew up in Taiwan and spent the latter part of her childhood in San José. She holds B.A. degrees in French and Psychology from UCLA and a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. She serves on the board of Partnership for Children and Youth and volunteers as a pro bono attorney with Tahirih Justice Center, a tutor with Healthy Cities Tutoring, and a mentor at Sequoia High School. Outside of work, Hana finds joy in spending time with her two energetic and curious young children.
