Spirit Express LLC is a trucking company dedicated to the safe transportation of liquid petroleum products in tanker trailers. Our mission is to provide unparalleled service to all of our loyal customers through reliable, innovative and ethical business principles and by setting our goal of "on-time, every time" delivery service through our market area... The company was founded by Tommy Thompson, who has been in the convenience store and fuel transportation business since 1967. Starting in 2002 with just 3 trucks, the company organized as an LLC and a Georgia Corporation. In 2007, Spirit Express LLC grew to 15 trucks after a merger with Fast Transport. Greg Kelley joined Spirit Express LLC in May of that year as its Director of Transportation. In 2008, we opened our central dispatch office and maintenance shop located in Chattanooga, TN with trucks domiciled in cities across the southeast including: Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville, Atlanta, Athens, and Birmingham.
