Dr. Robinson founded Southwest Bone and Joint Institute in 1999 to help as many patients as possible in southwest New Mexico receive quality, compassionate care.
Dr. Robinson received his medical degree from the University of New Mexico (UNM) School of Medicine in Albuquerque and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at UNM Health Sciences Center. A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, he has developed his expertise in total joint replacement and sports medicine. Robinson currently serves as Team Physician for the athletic teams of Western New Mexico University, and previously was a team physician for the New Mexico Scorpions and the UNM Lobos women's soccer team.
I became a physician because I wanted to heal people. I created The Southwest Bone and Joint Institute because I wanted to help my community.
Dr. Robinson has held such professional appointments as Chief of Staff for Gila Regional Medical Center, Silver City, and Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Orthopedics, UNM School of Medicine. In 2002, he served as the Vice President for the New Mexico Orthopedic Association; he is also a member of the New Mexico Orthopedic Association.
Dr. Robinson has two sons, Michael and Patrick. He enjoys cycling in his free time.

Dr. Carreon has dedicated his career to providing a wide range of general orthopedic care to patients of all ages. He grew up in Silver City and graduated from Silver High School. After living in Arizona, Dr. Carreon moved back to New Mexico in 2003 and has brought his surgical expertise and a strong commitment to community oriented patient care to the Southwest Bone and Joint Institute.
Dr. Carreon earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. He is the founder and current chair of the NMAASports Medicine Advisory Committee. Dr. Carreon also serves Gila Regional Medical Center as a member of the Medical Executive Committee.

Dr. Reddy is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitration. As a physiatrist she treats a wide range of injuries and illnesses including nerve, muscle and bone disorders. Dr. Reddy provides non-surgical care to help patients acheive their pre-injury functional abilities. She also performs EMG/NCV studies in our offices.
Dr. Reddy received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, completed her internship at SUNY Stony Brook Teaching Hospitals/Internal Medicine in Stony Brook, New York, and completed her residency at Temple University Health Science Center in Philadephia, Pennsylvania. She has been with the Southwest Bone and Joint Institute since 2005.
