Catalina Pieper

Catalina joined the Stanton Cronin Law Group, PL in 2013 to manage the growing title insurance department. In that role, she is the primary point of contact for lenders and borrowers to ensure a smooth closing process from start to finish. Prior to joining Stanton Cronin, Catalina worked in Tampa for a Fortune 100 company. She then parlayed that experience into owning and ultimately selling her own business. Throughout that time, Catalina remained active in the Tampa Bay community through her involvement with the Junior League and other civic organizations. Catalina graduated from the University of Florida in 1996 with a degree in Business Administration. While at UF, she served as the President of the student Senate and was inducted into Florida Blue Key Leadership Honorary. Catalina also earned a Master in Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University while employed full time for a Fortune 100 company. She is also fluent in Spanish and a licensed Notary.

Michael Stanton

During his legal career, Michael has gained experience in a wide variety of business law and civil litigation, including cases involving business disputes, financial services litigation, workplace disputes, complex commercial litigation and even class action litigation. He has represented individuals as well as businesses of all sizes, from the local "mom and pop" business all the way up to multi-national corporations, in state and federal courts throughout Florida, as well as nationally in arbitrations before the FINRA, NYSE and AAA. In addition to his courtroom experience, Michael has represented individuals and businesses in commercial transactions, such as lease negotiations, business entity formation, and employment contract review. Notably, Michael gained a wide array of transactional experience working as part of a team that acted as general counsel for a large nationally recognized hospital. Additionally, Michael has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in each year from 2010 through 2014. Over the last several years, Michael has been involved in international litigation in addition to his statewide practice. This experience involved traveling throughout North America and Europe to prepare the case for what was ultimately a three-year trial and multi-year appeal in The Hague, Netherlands. It was a challenging and rewarding professional experience. The time away from home also made him truly appreciate all that his home in Florida has to offer. Following this, Michael wanted to use the experience gained in practicing law nationally and internationally to create his own firm with a focus on clients or client issues closer to home. Michael Stanton was born on Long Island, New York but moved to the Tampa Bay area while in grade school. He graduated suma cum laude from East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs before attending the University of Florida's Honors Program. During his time as an undergraduate at the University of Florida, Michael marched in the "Pride of the Sunshine Marching Band" and is to this day an avid college football fan. It is his love of college football that later led him to help found the college football blog, EveryDayShouldBeSaturday.com. While at UF, Michael was named an "Anderson Scholar with Highest Distinction" for academic achievement. After graduating magna cum laude with a degree in History, he attended the University of Florida's Law School on a full academic scholarship. He graduated with honors and amongst the top of his class. Upon graduation, Michael returned to the Tampa Bay area to be closer to family and to start his legal career. Although his practice has led him to work in many countries around the world, he has always been based in the Tampa Bay area. In his spare time he enjoys being with his wife, children and his large extended family enjoying many of the things the great State of Florida has to offer. He remains active in the community through such organizations as the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, where he serves on the board of directors, The Inspire Foundation and the Tampa Theatre Wine Fest Committee. He also enjoys coaching his sons in youth soccer, going to the beach, boating, fishing and of course watching and cheering for all the area sports teams, especially the Florida Gators.

Sean Cronin

Sean has practiced a wide array of business law and civil litigation, including complex commercial litigation, financial services, securities arbitration and class action litigation. He has successfully represented individuals and corporations in state and federal court throughout Florida, as well as in arbitrations before the FINRA (formerly NASD), NYSE and AAA. In the process, Sean has distinguished himself among his peers and has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2014. Sean has also been involved in international litigation in addition to his statewide practice. For a trial in The Hague, Netherlands, Sean was exposed to various areas of international law and traveled extensively throughout North America and Europe. Shortly following the conclusion of that trial, Sean joined his business partner, Michael Stanton, in opening The Stanton Cronin Law Group, PL. Born in Winchester, Massachusetts, Sean was raised in both Massachusetts and Florida. Sean attended the University of Florida, graduating With Honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in History and a Minor in Criminology. Sean immediately moved down the street to the University of Florida Law School, also graduating With Honors. Following graduation, Sean moved to Tampa, Florida and has been a member of the Hillsborough County legal community since August 2000. In addition to his work as an attorney, Sean is proud to support the Tampa Bay community at large. He is a Board Member for Voices of Children of Tampa Bay, Inc. (www.vfcgal.org), an organization which assists the abused, neglected and abandoned children in our community by raising funds for and awareness of the Guardian ad litem program. Finally, Sean coaches basketball at the YMCA and baseball at Keystone Little League.
