Biography
Andrew Ferguson joined Subin Associates in August 2022. As a member of one of our litigation teams, Andrew assists accident victims in their chances of success against negligent defendants of all kinds, whether against individuals, business entities or municipalities. He previously practiced in healthcare collection and reimbursement recovery at a law firm in Nassau County, representing skilled nursing. In this role, he gained experience in all aspects of civil litigation, from inception to post-judgment execution.
Andrew is a first-generation American and a Brooklyn native. The son of Jamaican immigrants, he embodies the work ethic his parents instilled in him.

Biography
Andrew Laskin began his career with the New York City Law Department, handling cases in Brooklyn Family Court. Since that time, he has worked for both plaintiff and defensive litigation firms, a background that serves him well in representing clients for Subin Associates. Biography
Arnie Baum is the Chief Operating Officer of Subin Associates, LLP. In that role, Arnie is responsible for all operational aspects of the firm, including case management and firm administration. Arnie is an attorney who was the general counsel of two public companies before becoming a small business entrepreneur.
He created, acquired and built several manufacturing, distribution, marketing and consulting businesses (including a law firm marketing company) before becoming the chief operating officer of a leading legal software company in 2016. He joined Subin Associates in 2017 and has been an integral part of managing the firm's growth since his arrival.

Bianca Cacace is a 2020 law school graduate who joined Subin Associates in late 2020. Before her admission to the bar Bianca served as a law firm intern and was an extern for the Honorable Ellen Spodek of Kings County Supreme Court. Bianca brings a stellar academic record, an enthusiasm for litigation and an acute attention to detail to her work.

Charles Hymowitz, who joined Subin Associates in early 2021, brings over 20 years of personal injury litigation experience to the firm. He has worked for some of the top plaintiff's firms in New York and brings his extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the courts and the litigation process to his cases. Although Charles will be involved in several different aspects of the firm's practice, his primary role will be as a member of the firm's burgeoning Construction Accident / Labor Law team.
Charles is involved in several outside and pro bono activities. Most notably, he serves as Of Counsel to the Ocean Avenue Jewish Center in Brooklyn.

Christopher Soverow joined Subin Associates in August 2022. Biography
Denise A. Rubin is an accomplished appellate and complex briefing litigator with a 33 year track record of success for her clients.
Ms. Rubin gained broad experience litigating New York Labor Law (construction accident) matters when she served as the primary briefing attorney for plaintiffs' liaison counsel, representing more than 11,000 first responders and construction workers suffering toxic exposure injuries following the debris removal and clean up of the WTC site following the 9/11 terrorist attacks in lower Manhattan. In that capacity, she appeared frequently before the US District Court for the Southern District of New York in the In re: World Trade Center Disaster Site litigations and briefed and argued multiple appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in litigating the Ground Zero matters for more than ten years. The Ground Zero litigations were described by presiding District Court Judge Alvin Hellerstein as: "the most complex case in the history of American mass tort litigation." In addition to her work on Ground Zero and other Labor Law matters, Ms. Rubin has litigated pharmaceutical and medical device products liability claims and professional liability matters, and served as the Principal Court Attorney to a New York State Supreme Court Justice in New York County. She has lectured as a program panelist on pharmaceutical products liability (diet drug litigation), environmental law, appellate practice and moderated a panel on attorney ethics for the New York City Bar Association, where she sits on the Professional Responsibility Committee.
Ms. Rubin is admitted to practice in New York, and is a Member of the Bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third and Sixth Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. Dominic joined Subin Associates in January 2023 as a member of one of our litigation teams. Dominic focuses on the handling of high exposure personal injury cases involving premises, municipal and automobile liability. His litigation experience on behalf of several prominent national insurance companies throughout his career affords him a unique perspective in developing effective strategies on behalf of the firm's clients. Biography
Frank M. Melendez has over twenty years' experience as a trial attorney in personal injury litigation throughout the State of New York. He has also done pro-bono work as an appointed Arbitrator in the Small Claims Division of the Civil Court of the City of New York, and has volunteered and been a participant on programs such as the New York City Board of Education's Partner in Education and the Adopt a Class program.
Frank is dedicated to furthering the legal interests of those in the community. Throughout different periods in his legal career he has been a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, and the Hispanic National Bar Association. James Coscia joined the Construction Accident Team of Subin Associates in March 2022. He handles some of the most difficult construction accident cases. Peter May joined Subin Associates in the fall of 2018 as our Directing Attorney. In that capacity, Peter is responsible for oversight of all pre-litigation matters, from initial intake through institution of litigation. Peter comes to us from the insurance industry, having worked as an attorney and in several executive positions for several carriers, the most recent of which was Hereford Insurance. Robert J. Eisen decided to pursue a law degree in part due to his family history: His grandfather had been forced to drop out of law school years before and Robert wanted to finish what he had started. Robert found that he had a passion for advocating for clients and guiding them through what can be an intimidating process of seeking compensation after an accident.
"I feel that my clients should be active participants in the preparation of their case," Robert says. "They should call as often as they like with any questions or concerns. We must work together as a team." He also is a believer in patience when working with his injury clients.
